seriously this author drives me nuts. stop working in lines from pride and prejudice! its creepy and annoying. the book is good but itself don't ruin it with that nonsense. narrator did a great job, his female voices weren't bad at all. agreed with another reviewer, heavily religious if that bothers you.

One of my favorites

I feel like this book has everything. Romance, grief, betrayal, action, and even a little spice, all within a Christian perspective but without being cheesy (and I feel like I'm pretty sensitive to cheese if ya know what I'm sayin'). The storyline is very raw and the characters are very human. Not just some cutesy fairy tale, but people having to work through real-life challenges. Also, this narrator is fantastic and really brings it all to life.

Intriguing storyline

Well, I was pleasantly surprised with this book. The beginning was a bit slow getting into, but then it opened up into a wonderful storyline that kept me wanting more. I loved this book. 🤓

Heartfelt

This story wasn’t one to make you laugh but it does make you think. It was clean with just enough passion to make it good.

Very enjoyable and worth a 2nd listening. The Narrator is packing emotions into the text, he must be and actor, did a splendid job.

The story was a good one.

Liked this story and the way it ended . The main characters of this story were in difficult situations but turned out to be happy in the end. I would recommend listening or reading it.

Elegant faith and redemptive love!

Such a beautiful story of how God shows His redemptive love when we think we have failed too far. The trials and tribulations served only to strengthen what God had put in Stephen and Sophia’s soul if only they had the courage to recognize it. I love how God unfolded his provisions revealing the remedy to Stephen and Sophia’s deepest need…Providence, family and becoming each other’s bashert (Jewish term for -One’s predestined soulmate)! Beautifully written and elegantly descriptive!

Love the author!

This is one of the best books l've listened to in a while. I've gone through all of of this author's books and have been looking for another great christian author and l've finally found one. I'll definitely recommend!

Another Good One!

I loved the story and the characters. The narrator did a fantastic job at bringing the story to life. He has an amazing voice and kept me so engaged as he narrated the story with passion and feeling. This author does an excellent job and heartwarming characters and faith filled stories.
