Jay He is a Alpha male totally. He is protective, caring and loyal.

Nothing at all its a great book name and it fits

Ellie has found happiness. She loves her job and her lover, Jay. He is the best thing that has happened to her. Her life is perfect until she receives a threatening phone call from an ex-boyfriend. He demands that she help him steal from her employer and friend, Wyatt Christiansen. Ellie is trapped. What can she do? Is she strong enough to leave? Ellie and Jay complete each other. They are a passionate couple who need to be together. Their relationship is deeply sensual and very romantic. The suspense-filled plot and strong characters kept me riveted. I love that Katie included people that we've met before. It was like taking a trip back home to catch up with friends. The action is non-stop. I must admit that the ending took me by surprise. Katie Reus is a excellent writer. This story is skillful crafted and left me wanting more.

For me the audio version added to my enjoyment. Holly Fielding and Ryan Hudson added so much to the story with their narration. I felt like I was in the center of all the action.

This is a memorable story with the audio adding more depth and emotion to the action. I'm a fan of Katie Reus and of audio books.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved both Jay and Ellie, he is strong, protective and totally alpha male and Ellie is sweet, strong, and tries to do the right thing.

Which scene was your favorite?

I really don't have a favorite scene, I loved it all!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book held my attention from the beginning, I couldn't wait to finish it so I could find out what happened next.

I really enjoyed this book, I love all books by Katie Reus, I loved the audio version of this book as much as I did reading it. Ryan Hudson and Holly Fielding did a great job as a narrator. Ryan Hudson, was awesome! However, I wish that Holly Fielding would have talked a little faster, it seemed to me that she was talking r-e-a-l-l-y slow.

Love Katie Reus's writing, and this delivers!!

I'm loving the Sin City series...and this audio book just delivered totally! What I'd call novella length it gives us a complete story with all the emotions & romance us lovers of the genre want, without compromising a thing for the shorter length.

It actually picks ups with the hero, Jay, and his heroine, Ellie, having been lovers for about a year. They're completly into one another ~ but Ellie has a past she's not exactly been keeping a secret from Jay, but that she's never bothered to share, either. And that past has come back to haunt her; in the form of an Ex from long ago who wants Ellie to either give him inside info from the Hotel Serafina ( where she's executive assistant for Wyat Christensen, the owner ) or he'll reveal all to not only Jay, but her boss, Wyatt.

In an attempt to shield everyone from repercussions of her past Ellie tries to just dissapear ~ but things don't go quite as planned, and she's got a lot of shoring up w/ Jay after her little stunt and not trusting him.

LOVED it! The narration is excellent ~ it has both a man and a woman narrating, alternating POV from chapter to chapter, and it SO worked for me! I loved that she didn't try to build the whole relationship in the novella, but gave us background for the players, and built us up to where they currently are in their relationship.

I'm such a fan of Katie's books, and love that she continues to write books I not only love, but that as soon as I'm done I'm off to search out the next in the series.

Good , but not great!

I didn't like this one as much as I enjoyed book 1. The heroine left! WTF!!! Why leave when you have all these alpha men surrounding you for protection... I mean... I get it..she wanted to protect her guy...but c'mon!

Anyway.. this was still a good listen. The smexy time was simply great... the action and adventure was not half bad either.

Narration... well I hate dual narration...but other than that.. I was ok... nothing to complain about...

Worth a credit or sale!
