Editorial Reviews

Savage Passions, the fourth installment in Cassie Edwards’ popular Savage series, unveils the story of two star-crossed lovers, Yvonne and Silver Arrow, whose growing passion for each other is threatened by the forces of their disparate cultures, worlds which rarely meet in peace.

Nanette Savard performs this old-fashioned romance with aplomb, her gritty voice the perfect complement to Edwards’ purple prose; Savard is a no-frills narrator but her unadorned performance serves as a kind of anchor for the melodramatic romance that makes this audiobook so easy to get lost in.

Publisher's Summary

Yvonne secretly admired the chieftain of a peaceful Ottawa Tribe, but white men and Indians alike threaten to keep them forever apart. They'd need the strength of a love both breathtaking and bold....

uhmmm...i laughed a lot.

What disappointed you about Savage Passions?

the characters were so simple, this is is the quintissential cheesy romance novel that gives the whole genre a bad name.

Has Savage Passions turned you off from other books in this genre?

no, but i'l definately steer clear of this author. someone likes this stuff, but it's not for me.

Would you be willing to try another one of Nanette Savard’s performances?

i'm not sure if it was her or the material. or both. i definately won't seek her out.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

laughter really.
