Publisher's summary
It all started with Whitney "Pink" Pearl's bank statement. More than $200,000 mysteriously showed up in her account...along with a paper trail linking her to embezzling from the charity she'd been hired to safeguard!
Even worse, Pink was caught at the scene of the crime where her sworn enemy was murdered, and now someone is gunning for her. With help from two sexy, marriage-minded men (help!) and one lovelorn mother (don't ask) can Pink dodge the cops, turn the tables on the killers, and clear her name before someone takes the money and runs?

Now, I’m the grumpy to Juliet’s sunshine on a popular dating podcast we host, and when a wealthy fan gives us a charming coastal cottage as the biggest thank you ever, we head to the town where I grew up to give it a makeover. And find the house has only one bed. Located under a mirrored ceiling.

Wonderful Surprise
I also found myself surprised at how good this book was. I would consider it a mystery or maybe a romantic suspense, but overall it is just a good fiction book. I am particular about what I like and never write reviews, so I hope you will find this helpful and will give the book a shot. (The reader is heavy on the Texan accent but you get past it very quickly- and being from Texas myself I don't know anyone who talks like that! But it doesn't affect the enjoyment of the book.. )

Fun Series
I really enjoyed this audible version of the third of the "PINK" series! I stumbled on the first book and was lucky to find the second shortly after. Then I was thrilled to find the third here at audible. The characters and plot lines are fun. The narrator did a good job making it an easy listen.

Loved it!
As an Accountant, I really enjoyed this light easy reading. All the characters were likeable, and the main character was no dummy, either. I had no problem with her Texas accent; she sounded pretty and smart! Audible, where are the two previous Pink Pearl books?? I'm dying for more!

A FUN ROMANTIC MYSTERY
THIS WAS A SURPRISE TREAT. I DIDN'T REALIZE THIS WAS A ROMANCE, SINCE I ORDERED IT OFF NEW RELEASES. I AM A MYSTERY READER. THIS BOOK IS FUN, CLELVER, HAS A GREAT MYSTERY PLOT, AND HAS A PERFECT NARATOR FOR THE PART OF "PINK". MODERN DETECTIVE READERS WILL ENJOY THIS BOOK. I ASSUME THE ROMANCE READERS WILL ALSO LIKE IT, ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT AS GRAPHIC AS OTHER ROMANCE NOVELS I HAVE READ (THIS IS A POSITIVE FOR ME).

Terrible also
I haven't written a review before and I love my chick lit books, I just wanted to finish this so I wouldn't think I had wasted my credit. I did NOT like the narrator. They normally don't bother me and I don't usually listen to other bad reviews about narrators but this one was not good. The book did not do the story line justice. I wouldn't recommend this book. Sorry!

TERRIBLE!
I dont want to hurt anyones feelings but this book was almost unbearable... The plot was borderline ridiculous, but the worst part was the narrator! She coudn't get any of the accents right. Her Texas drawl was sickening and her Russian accent was the WORST! Painful to listen to, really. Why is there always a Russian involved in bad mysteries?? Also annoying was that the author has several catch phrases that she uses again and again throughout the book and at times I would have to roll my eyes and think "OMG, not again!". The characters were idiots and I could not relate to any of them. I don't like to leave anything unfinished and that is the only reason I made it through the entire book...

Didn't enjoy this one
I am from Texas, and I could not take the readers Texas drawl. The story was alittle far out there, but I toughed it out and for what? The ending wasn't an ending as for as I was concerned.
