Publisher's Summary

This fight club has one rule: You might be a veteran....

Loving her is the biggest fight of his life....

Home from the Marines, Noah Cortez has a secret he doesn’t want his oldest friend, Kristina Moore, to know. It kills him to push her away, especially when he’s noticing just how sexy and confident she’s become in his absence. But, angry and full of fight, he’s not the same man anymore either. Which is why Warrior Fight Club sounds so good.

Kristina loves teaching, but she wants more out of life. She wants Noah - the boy she’s crushed on and waited for. Except Noah is all man now - in ways both oh so good and troubling, too. Still, she wants who he’s become - every war-hardened inch. And when they finally stop fighting their attraction, it’s everything Kristina never dared hope for.

But Noah is secretly spiraling, and when he lashes out, it threatens what he and Kristina have found. The brotherhood of the fight club helps him confront his demons, but only Noah can convince the woman he loves that he’s finally ready to fight for everything.

Good book!

First of all- Andi Arndt can make any book come to life bcz she’s that AWESOME! Fortunately with this book, she didn’t have to do a ton of work. Fighting For Everything was a sweet book; I would’ve loved it a lot more if I hadn’t listened to and fell in love with Fishers Light first. It has the same PSTD synopsis with hateful words spoken to a lover and a HEA. But the other book had two narrators, was much more believable and was in first person while this is in third.

The writing was good, but I was left wanting more. For example, whatever happened to Ethan? (I think that was his name lol). And I wanted to hear more of Noah's inner monologue. Even though he was hurting, I don't recall him contemplating suicide. It seemed to me like if he wasn't thinking about it already, the other characters put the thought in his head. I get that he had symptoms of depression but I didn't feel the connection that would lead him to make the next step.

Overall, it was a good story but it won’t make you ugly cry but it’s still good just the same.

Worth a credit? Hmm...yeah! ❤️

This is the first book that I’ve listened to of Laura Kaye and I must say that I really enjoyed the storyline and angst of the book. I loved the honesty and relationship between the main characters and their fight to improve themselves. Their mutual respect for each other and sensitivity to one another’s needs was a wonderful dynamic in the book! Loved it!

Can a vet w PTSD and TBI find real love

Noah Cortez is lucky to be alive...at least that's what he's been told, but he's finding it hard to believe since he's dealing with TBI and PTSD. He needs to stay away from his bff, Kristina, who is suddenly tempting him to think and do things that 'just friends' should never consider. Kristina is in love with her bff...cliche' but true...now if only she can help him deal with his PTSD then they can have their HEA...right? Unfortunately, Noah thinks that he is too broken for Kristina and keeps pushing her away. Will their friendship survive when Kristina tries to push for more? Will Noah finally seek the help needed to overcome/deal with his injury and disorder? This is a great story that focuses a bit on the aftermath of war injuries. The author did a fantastic job of balancing the hardship involved with these injuries as well as weaving a story of love, acceptance and forgiveness. Totally worth the read/listen.
