five years gone one heck of a good read

Marie force does it again reviting i couldnt put it down . love it. well writen 5 stars in my oppion

A great book to listen to

Marie Force has done it again!!! She drew me in to this story from the very beginning and has exposed so much emotion. This the first Marie Force book I have listened to on Audible and loved how Andi and Joe brought the characters to life. I highly recommend this book!!

Engrossing

I really liked this book. It had an interesting, if a little far fetched, plot. How long would you wait for the man you love? As the plot progresses, our girl Ava begins to question if she ever really knew her boyfriend John at all.
The only two criticisms I had were that the story jumped between characters quite a bit, and sometimes I got a little lost as to who was talking. The other thing was that I thought it implausible that John would not have been able to contact his love Ava in any way (letter, phone call, email, text, carrier pigeon) for five years.
I always love Joe Arden's voice and who does not love Andi Arndt's narration?

Outstanding!!!

Marie Force has done it with a stand alone novel that is full of all the writing ability this lady has to make a story come to life. The performers are outstanding and so glad she waited for them to do this one for her. All the emotion of the story was brought to life through their voices!

I loved it! This book was amazing, the narration provided by 2 individuals was a great touch.

Five years gone.

I love it; I like the narrators. I love the fact that even though this is a love story based on three characters, it had many pov by other influential characters. I love the plot. It made me sad at times. I cried and laughed. It was a heartwarming story. I now know there is a continuation to this story. I'm so looking forward to reading it; I hope it's as well written as this one, and it'll be a happy ending for everyone, even if it's not the one I'm hoping for.

FIVE YEARS GONE, PLEASANT SURPRISE.

Story written in such away that kept you on edge. After reading every Fatal book in the series twice I was overcome by the sensitive, edgy nature of this book. I hope that we will hear from the family again.

Amazing

This book was amazing! I wanted Eric, then Jon, then Eric, but poor John, Marie takes your emotions on a tailspin! Please bring Johns story! What happened to John? I have to know!

Two well off but lost souls find each other and then must deal with an old lost love

This book was a tear jerker romance with one very sweet, considerate guy- Eric. The woman Ava, found herself having to choose between 2 great loves, and a reluctant hero- John-who was pretty self centered on his wants and not that of his girl. He also was selective on not following the no girl rule but then hiding his professional life. That part is not realistic as i know married seals and while details about missions are secret, telling the spouse or live in girl you are leaving for a long term deployment is acceptable. John was inconsiderate and outright lied but he was serving the country and put his life on the line. Ava was pretty oblivious and unbelivably niave since she didn’t even know his branch of service and lived with him for 2 years but didn’t question not meeting his friends??? My sympathy was with Erica who was not able to be secure in his relationship thanks to Ava’s guilt and indecision until the end. Looking forward to the sequel. Grat narration.

Emotional read.

Marie Force never disappoints. I enjoyed the book a lot and it was written so well as usual. Good job Marie.
