Funny and sweet!!

I started out listening to the third book, and I am so glad I went to the beginning!
I truly enjoy this new author to me, she has chosen fantastic narrators to bring out the best in this series. Now on to #2 and #4!

Sweet Story..

Enjoyed this short story. Super Sweet from friends to lovers romance. Enjoyed the narrator's as well.The male narrator was new to me and he did an excellent job.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Getting Lucky Number Seven?

The most memorable moment for me would be when when Beck gets on stage to sing at a party to his nerdy BFF.

Have you listened to any of Andi Arndt and Cooper North ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I'm a huge Andi Arndt fan and funnily enough - I bought the book based on the description and was happily surprised to hear her as a narrator. She's always amazing and I love how versatile her voice is. This was my first Cooper North book and he also did great! He too had a versatile voice. They both put emotion into the characters and did a great job.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Subtle Chemistry or the Chemistry of Love. Something with Chemistry since they were both all about chemistry both figuratively and literally.

Any additional comments?

Amazing!!! Reminds me of Sincerely Carter in a way. Bffs turned lovers. Well written with tons of detail and feelings (more R rated with the steamy scenes - not too much detail there but its cute). Beck was the college hockey star. And Lila was the nerdy chemist major. Lila was tired of being called boring, plan and one guy called her ugly in earshot of herself. while her BFF Beck thought she was amazing as is and a great friend. He agreed to help his frumpy friend with the great personality (yet nerdy). He didnt see her in a sexual way and thought it would be easy - but he was wrong. Chemistry from their friendship began to heat up with her new looks. Beck started to see her in a new light and got jealous of other guys attempts to be with her. The story takes an unexpected turn when he agrees to help her with one of her college bucket list items. This book was amazing and well worth the read. Enjoy!

An Unexpected Delight

This book was an unexpected delight to read. It was funny and the characters were very believable. This is not a book I would normally stick with and want to listen to day and night to finish. However, I did with this one. Great read Cindi Madsen!
