Cowboy Unwrapped
This cowboy can handle the heat....
For cowboy and firefighter Jake Ramsay, Christmas at Thunder Mountain Ranch is all about family, food, and celebration. Okay, and maybe a chance to run into his high school sweetheart, singer Amethyst Ferguson. Six months ago they had a scorching-hot, wild reunion...and this cowboy can't wait for another chance to play with fire.
Now their sexual attraction is an insatiable five-alarm blaze that's only grown more addictive. But Amethyst has career dreams that don't include Jackson Hole, Wyoming, or a relationship. Whatever this is between them, however real it feels, it can never become anything more. Once Christmas is over, Amethyst must walk away...even if they both get burned.
One Hot December
Hard as steel...and hotter still!
Never mess with a woman who carries a blowtorch in her backpack. Welder and artist Veronica "Flash" Redding's playful sense of evil sometimes gets the better of her. Like when her insanely handsome wealthy, suited-up boss gave her the most sensuously wicked night of her life...then dumped her. Yep, revenge is a dish best served hot.
Only Ian Asher isn't letting Flash get away quite so easily. He's not ready to forget the intensity between them. The searing heat when they touch. And the deliciously demanding control Ian wields in the bedroom. Now he has only the holidays to convince Flash that they belong together...and that even the most exquisite broken things can be welded back together.

Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. Eight years ago I fell into a secret summer fling with my best friend’s little sister before our lives went in different directions. Now, I’m the grumpy to Juliet’s sunshine on a popular dating podcast we host, and when a wealthy fan gives us a charming coastal cottage as the biggest thank you ever, we head to the town where I grew up to give it a makeover. And find the house has only one bed. Located under a mirrored ceiling.

Ian and Flash are the BOMB!
What did you love best about Cowboy Unwrapped & One Hot December?
I only listened to One Hot December from this audiobook.
Veronica AKA Flash and Ian AKA The Boss were perfect together. When I started reading the book, I first saw a very bitter and vindictive Flash, and a grumpy and kind of an asshole Ian, but later, when their truer personalities were showing as the story was going, I found funny and easy going characters that I ended up loving so much.
What other book might you compare Cowboy Unwrapped & One Hot December to and why?
Maybe Beautiful Bastard, but only at the beginning.
Which character – as performed by Abby Craden and Lidia Dornet – was your favorite?
Lidia Dornet did a flawless performance for One Hot December.
She made them sassier and sexier and her breathy voice for the sex scenes was just perfect. I loved her tone of voice and her pace.
I also loved the inflexions she made for the secondary characters.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Flash and The Boss!
Any additional comments?
One Hot December was a sexy and funny story. Kuddos for Tiffany Reisz for the whole series.

One Hot December
I only listened to “One Hot December,” which starts at Chapter 20. I really liked it! It was sexy and funny, and it discussed Hanukkah, which is hard to find!

One out of two isn't bad
Cowboy unwrapped is read wonderfully by narrator Abby, The thunder mountain brotherhood series is heart warming and fun. Unfortunately I could get into the second book the story is slow and the narrator Lidia turned me off. The first book is very good the second is yuck.

Just skip the first book
No idea if the first story is a good one or not. Abbey Craden’s narration was so incredibly awful that I had to just skip. It’s so unnatural and affected that if I had to tolerate her ridiculous pronunciation of “Amethyst” one more time, I’d have screamed.
Tiffany Reisz is amazing as always. Don’t miss out on her title. The narrator, Lidia Dornet does a good job so hitting skip several times to get there is worth it.

The 1st story was boring, 2nd story was okay
I couldn't get past chapter three of the first book, Cowboy Unwrapped. The story was boring and there was no chemistry between the main characters. The second book, One Hot December was just okay. If you are looking for a good book by Tiffany Reisz (the author of the 2nd book), you are better off trying Her Halloween Treat - which was a great read! The only reason I purchased this bundle is because of Tiffany Reisz's storytelling as it wasn't available individually. Disappointed.
