Publisher's summary
Sierra Ward seems like the perfect college student, she studies hard and works harder. When the death of her best friend causes her to question her life choices, she does what anyone would do; she hits a bar and has a one night stand with a dark and handsome stranger who may just turn out to be her soulmate, but all she promised him was one night. Burdening Dylan with all of her baggage is the last thing Sierra wants to do, so she skips out with the morning light well aware that she may never see him again. Months later she has a new major and a new career; but none of that matters when he reappears in the most unexpected place, and before she knows it, he's everywhere. Now Sierra's wondering if there really is such a thing as soulmates, and if there is, will she get a second chance to do it right, or will she be fated to wander incomplete for the rest of her life.

Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Romance can be a little complicated when you get sucked into a wormhole. Just ask high school English teacher June Flint. One little solar flare happens and suddenly you find yourself 85 years in the future. Eighty-five years from your dream job. Your ailing mother whose only companion in this world is you. Your favorite stuffed-crust pizza from DeLucia’s on Sunday nights. Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant.

Eight years ago I fell into a secret summer fling with my best friend’s little sister before our lives went in different directions. Now, I’m the grumpy to Juliet’s sunshine on a popular dating podcast we host, and when a wealthy fan gives us a charming coastal cottage as the biggest thank you ever, we head to the town where I grew up to give it a makeover. And find the house has only one bed. Located under a mirrored ceiling.

What’s with the name?
Over all I really enjoyed this book. The narrator did a nice job also. The only thing is that I’m not sure where the inspiration for the name came from.

Good story but, hedious editing for the just ok na
Story was good and cute but, the editing was awful! So many times the narrator is repeating a word or a phrase. I know this happens to every narrator but, it's the editors job to clean it up. I have noticed that the cheaper the books the more rough the recording. Mind you not with all the books but, most of the cheaper books I have listened to have been roughly cut.

Thank you may I have another?
A girl with a heart of gold, a guy with his own demons to battle, can we say match made in heaven?
Sierra is sweet, she’s awkward, she’s got no clue how sexy she really is; always staying in the background, just watching life go by.
Until she meets sexy and broody Dylan, who opens up to her and has just what it takes to get her to open up. So what does she do but run, that is, until there isn’t anywhere she can go. When the sparks go flying, can these two deny the draw? Who is going to break first?
It’s an ending that will leave your pulse pounding and your temperature rising!

A real gem
Let me just break it down why this book is so good:
For one, Sierra is just so gosh darn authentic, she’s real on a level you rarely get to feel with characters, and you feel that right away. She has confidence issues and loneliness issues and struggles with work and school, even friendship. Then here comes Dylan, this dream guy who seems like her every wish come true, but she doesn’t pursue him, she instead focuses on her life and herself which is what people really should do.
The same goes for the book, it has an authenticity to it that these people could be living in your city, struggling with these issues common to a lot of people.

My kind of Crazy !!!
How on earth can you argue with love like this? Spoiler alert! You are going to fall in love with these characters! They are real. They are quirky. They like to drink a lot of whiskey. Don’t fight it, just accept that this crazy cast of binge drinking bestie’s and all their issues are going to have you in knots while you pray for everything to just work out!

Dylan is a piece of sh!t.
What disappointed you about Bad Boy in a Suit?
Is anyone else pissed off at the fact that every day after Dylan and our heroine met up again, he chose his fiancé over her? That he was emotionally cheating and lying to his fiancé every day that he made his "friendship" with sierra a priority while not in fact making sierra a priority? Anyone else pissed about the fact that he "acted" completely clueless to the fact that she was in love with him and he kept insisting on inserting himself in her life, in spite of the fact that he had chosen to remain with his fiancé!!!! Anyone else pissed at the author that we never actually got a satisfactory answer from the author about why Dylan did in fact stay with his fiancé! The whole he met her in the hospital when he was down and out, is a really insufficient explanation. No mention of love...no mention of a feeling of responsibility, or maybe it was just great sex...also, the limited ability for the reader to see any real sign of affection portrayed towards her.... Dylan is a piece of sh!t, because it seems as though he accepted a marriage proposal from a girl he didn't seem to love, much less care much about and then proceeded to drag both women through months and months and months of stringing both of them along this tortuous road, that neither of them deserved and that he was the prime person to perpetuate it (not to discount sierra's responsibility in all of this).....but Dylan was the prime asshole. Why did no one ever just come out and ask the guy why the hell he was with her and what the hell he was thinking hurting sierra!!! Not Dylan's family, not sierra's friends, not the fiancé, not sierra herself....and certainly Dylan never so much as volunteered the information, much less apologize to sierra for putting everyone through a completely unnecessary hell. He selfishly turned her into the side piece and figured what....that she'd happily stand by while he went home to the arms of another woman each night? Also, he sure as hell should have gottten a better taste of his own medicine than that one initial scene with Vaughn. I am super super pissed at Dylan, the author and even just the freakin title....does anyone ever recall Dylan ever being in a suit? I pretty much just recall him in construction gear, motorcycle gear or thanksgiving casual wear. Whatever.... sigh....
Would you ever listen to anything by A.N. Nazarov again?
Maybe...
