Helpful guidance anyone could benefit from

I'm so grateful for Katherine sharing her journey and making her useful takeaways from her expertise as a therapist (and her personal journey) so accessible via this book. I have found this book to be a helpful aid in my own journey of trauma reprocessing (through talk therapy and EMDR), and I found something relatable to my own experience from every chapter. There were so many pieces that I needed to hear, either as a reminder or something new that I learned to apply towards learning self-love and creating healthy relationships with others. Even if you have done plenty of self-work or healing, you will find the recommendations actionable and helpful, while finding the stories from Katherine heartwarming and relatable.

Beautifully read, and truly inspiring audiobook

I have both read this book, and spent time listening to it in order to keep the wealth of information fresh on my mind. First of all, the reader has a pleasant tone and speaks clearly. And the book itself is a true gift for anyone wanting to find a deeper sense of self, as well as to learn valuable tools to manage relationships, challenging situations, and daily stressors. In addition, it provides guidance for embracing meditation and mindfulness. As someone who has found these practices difficult, this book has given me the confidence and encouragement to be more present within myself and to take the time to prioritize mindfulness in my daily routine. The book is easy to read and follow, and outlines specific ways to put the tools into practice. I can’t express how much I have gained from listening, and re-listening to the chapters in the book that really speak to me. Highly recommend!!
