Meghan Quinn
From USA Today and Amazon Charts best-selling author Meghan Quinn comes a new fake dating, standalone sports romance featuring the hockey men you can’t get enough of and love. This steamy, age-gap romantic comedy will bring all the laughs while making your cheeks blush at the same time.
Running into your ex is never ideal.
Running into your ex who is now dating your nemesis is a literal nightmare.
That’s how I found myself in a sheer panic, reaching for the closest guy at the bar and kissing him. And to my delight he was easily the most attractive man I’ve ever seen.
The only problem is, when I tried to walk away after thanking him for his help, he stopped me with three life-changing words....
“You owe me.”
That’s how I found myself, a college girl, in a fake relationship with a professional hockey player ten years older than me.
At first it was easy.
He helped me with my internship.
I helped keep his ex away from him.
We were becoming fast friends.
It wasn’t until he started staying the night at my dorm did the rules of our arrangement become complicated.
Now my feelings are involved and even though I kissed the right man at the right time, I’m worried he’s just waiting for the clock to run out.

When twenty-one-year-old college student Oliana "Ollie" Owens from Portland, Oregon unexpectedly runs into her jerk of an ex--an ex who replaced Ollie with her nemesis--she decides to make a stand, and by that, she stands up and makes out with the hot stranger at the bar. Only the guy happens to be quite well-known. He's none other than thirty-one-year-old professional hockey player Silas Taters, and he's part of the Vancouver Agitators. In for a penny, in for a pound because the two decide to enter into a fake relationship. She'll rock her internship, he'll get his ex to stay away. Easy-peasy--as long as they stick to the agreed-upon rules. But when the rules are broken, will it mean their hearts will follow suite as well?
This is the kind of story that works wonderfully well when matched with just the right narrators. Stella Hunter and Jason Clarke brought that extra bit of oomph to to an already great tale of romance and hockey and everything in between. While the fake relationship trope isn't a go-to pick for me, Meghan Quinn's perfect blend of romance and comedy made Ollie and Silas's story one that I couldn't easily hit "pause" on. Heck, I barely took a break while listening to this in the twelve-plus hours it was playing through my speakers. But that's what happens when you've got as engaging a story and as pitch-perfect narration as the combo of Quinn, Hunter, and Clarke delivered. Right Man, Right Time easily earns itself five stars as an audiobook and an eBook, and I can't wait for even more books to come from this series!

The story was fun too! I like how the separation that happens was outside forces conspiring against them both in a way!
The book was about healing from bad exes but no in a “I’m still hung up on them” way. Silas was carrying around massive amounts of fresh grief from his relationship end. Ollie had some minor grief from her previous relationship especially after finding him dating her work nemesis.
Them getting together and starting a fake relationship to be buffers for each other actually helped both of them heal their primary grief and it was beautiful to see them blossom together!
The end is AMAZING! What a fun way to get back together. Very simple but opens the door to heal the rift caused by their separation.
Big big props to Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter for their performances in this book too! Wow! Duet narration really made this story pop so much more!

Oh and those sexy times are H.A.F.!! Adding to the hotness is a certain piercing that brought so much pleasure for both of them! As this book moves through the quasi-relationship they’ve agreed to, we start to see different sides of both our H/h in good ways. There’s the right amount of angst and drama that comes with a relationship that starts out as fake but real feelings begin to develop.
One of my favorite things about Meghan’s books is that we see characters from the previous books and in this series, these guys are as outrageous as always and provided many moments of hilarity.
While I was reading this book when I was at home, I actually listened to most of it and the duet narration of Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter was phenomenal!! I was completely engaged with every single word and let me tell you, when it came to the sexy times, having them play out in my ears, it was a wonder I got any work done LOL!!
With this book I’m going to be clamoring for the next book in this series because I can’t get enough of these Agitators!

At the end of the book.... *chef's kiss*. She put the biggest smile on my face.
Picture a hero that has his heart demolished in the worst way meeting a goofy, college girl that lacks a censor. Chaos ensues. You will definitely laugh out loud. This story gives you so many cameos. And group texting with the hockey team. SO funny. Silas has a diiirrrrrrrrrrty mouth. I'm sure it's not a surprise but my god! He just turns it right on.
The narrators just nailed it. Jason Clarke is one of my absolute favorites and he did not disappoint.
I might have met my new favorite heroine.

I had the privilege of getting to listen to this as an ALC and boy I could not accept faster. This has all the perfect pieces of a great Meghan Quinn book. It's got humor, its got Drama, its got some SPICE ;) and it even has a Jacobs Ladder. It also had a tried and true age gap which is one of my favorite tropes to read. The character of Ollie did kind of bother me till about the middle of the book, she started off as very unlikable to me but she did redeem herself somewhat as the book went on. Very much reminiscent of Myla in Untying the knot. I am not sure if Meghan is intentionally writing these unlikable FMC who you need to get to know before you like them or not. But either way I ended up liking her. That is the only reason I could not give this a 5 star. This book was narrated by Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter. This has probably been one of THE BEST Jason narrations I have listened to so far. The emotion that we got out of him several times in this book literally made me mist up a little. And don't even get my started on chapter 17, how he can go from seggsy time, making you pant, to laughing your butt off with one of the funniest text message exchanges is beyond me. Give this man ALL The awards!! I have not listened to a lot of Stella, but she really brought the sass and grit of Ollie to life. She played this character so perfectly, and the emotion we got from her towards the end was also just phenomenal. If you are a fan of MQ, Hockey Romance, Jason and/or Stella you will very much enjoy this book. I highly recommend reading and/or listening. I can not wait for y'all to hear it <3

I love how unapologetically herself Ollie is, she is confident, fun and honest. She was the perfect match for Silas, she pushed for him to be able to open up about what happened to him and she didn't pity him. She showed him so much compassion and was able to build him up in a way no one else would have been able to. This book had so many of my favorite tropes- sports, grumpy/sunshine. age gap, fake relationship, meet cute.
I listened to the book on audible and I really liked the dual narration. There were times when I had to crank the volume up because there were times I couldn't really hear Jason Clark but I do love the tone of his voice.
great narration
