An interesting listen

Nice to find an RA book that was on audible. Having poor eyesight as well means that reading can be a chore so I was pleased to find this had been produced as an audio book.

Interesting Approach

The book makes sense, I have yet to put it fully into practice but what Ross Lennox says about food and RA does seem to connect the two together – food for thought as they say!

Nutrition for RA sufferers

This is the one of the unseen diseases, you suffer in silence and outwardly you look fine. There is much to this I think, this book aims to help to heal you from the inside out by putting anti inflammatory foods into your body.

Good Advice To Avoid Flares

A lot of the advice we either know or we can guess at, but there are some extra nuggets in here as well. It’s also the only book I have found so far that deals solely with the issue of rheumatoid arthritis and nutrition.

Excellent Meal Plans

I had already gotten hold of one of Ross Lennox’s books which had plenty of recipes in and this book just helped out that bit more with the meal plans and helping to get myself organised. Made shopping a bit easier.

Interesting listen

It is interesting to see nutritional choices linked so closely with the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and I think there is probably more research needed in this area. I am in agreement with the author that this is often a disease related to our western diet.

Good RA resource

There seems little written on this condition so a new addition to the bookshelf can only be welcomed.

Helped reduce inflammation

Whether it was just cutting out the processed food or whether it was the inclusion of more fresh produce in my diet I don’t know – however, the swelling of my ankles went down.
