What a wonderful book!
I loved this book! It was written by an author whom was new to me. The descriptions and character development were excellent. One could feel the emotions Grace and Drew felt. I enjoyed the fact that this story was not "insta-love" but developed over time. Yes, there was heartaches, but also happiness. The narrator did a great performance as well. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator and/or publisher. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Sweet story but not much else...
If you are looking for a light, entertaining listen, look no further.
I had some issues with the natrator. She might have been English or from the states, but to me she sounded kind of Australian. Nothing against The Aussies, but it should have been English English....
The story in it self didn't move me much. I mean, the writing had flow and the plot sounded great but I just couldn't engage, didn't have all the feels, that this storyline could have given me.
Unfotunately I can't put my finger on, what I feel was missing, because as I said earlier, the foundation is there, I just couldn't commit.

Kim Loraine does it again
The narrator was excellent. the story was as well. I loved the fact that there were many points that kept you on your toes. You, as the reader, also felt some of the emotions. I especially liked the fact that they didn't just jump in the the sack the first time they met.

This is a wonderful book
Grace was devastated when she lost her love of five years. John was a firefighter and lost his life on the job. Their love didn’t dissolve, there was no deceit, no reason for it to not continue on with marriage and children. It was ripped from her, her future with him stolen.
Drew’s life used to be about money and prestige. He was a lawyer in London, working hard and living the life, married to Susan-a gorgeous bombshell. Well, that is until he walked in one day and found her “occupied” with one of his co-workers. That life, along with his marriage ended. That moment not only broke his heart, it destroyed him.
After moving across the globe to head up a restoration project, Grace comes face to face with Drew, a man who looks identical to John. The more time they spend together, the more her suspicions and feelings grow. Does she feel this way because he looks like John? He may look the same, but he is so different. As she uncovers secrets of the past, she is torn on what they will do to their growing relationship. Will he, or even-does she, trust in her feelings.
This is a wonderful book, one that is more than just the typical contemporary romance. This is a book about loss and grief, of truths and acceptance, of letting go and moving forward, of growth and loving again. Kim Loraine does an excellent job giving us an emotion, hopeful, and heartwarming tale. The book is well-written with great character development. The main theme was a little predictable, but there are twists and turns that kept it refreshing and unexpected. There is great detail, without going overboard, that paint a beautiful picture.
I am looking forward to more and can’t wait to get started on the next book, which is Valerie’s story.

Can One Fall for a Deceased Loves Doppelganger?
Any additional comments?
I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. This author and narrator are new to me and I enjoyed them very much. The writing pulled me in and the narrator kept me engaged. I am looking forward to listening to more in this series thanks to the authors ability to hook my interest in her characters and the stories they have to tell. I want more and have added the entire series to my goodreads TBR list. This was a very interesting take on a classic romance trope and I loved seeing how it all turned out.

I Love Grace <3
This book had me in tears in the very beginning and I was feeling all of Grace's heartbreak over John. But slowly, piece by piece, it pieced me back together and I am so in love with Drew. I loved seeing her slowly realize that she was falling in love not with a substitute but Drew as his own person and how much she loved him! This is my first audiobook narrated by Sophie King and I really like her voice. However, I think sometimes with Grace's voice, I think I get confused because she does seem like she takes on a bit of an accent but I still really liked it, especially being a solo narration! I can't wait to jump into Valerie's story next!

Restores Faith in True Love
This is a tender book, so much more than just the typical contemporary romance with its themes of loss and grief, then letting go and moving forward to love again. It is filled with hope, and so well written that the characters feel authentic. The twist is compelling and sets this book apart from others. Add in the well done naration and this is a beautiful story.
So glad I have the other books so I can start on the next book right away!

Refreshing and Unique Piece of Contemporary Romantic Fiction
Kim Loraine delivers in this unusual story of heartbreak and love. Grace loses the one she holds most dear, but gains a new sense of herself when she finds new love in an unlikely mate. Kim Loraine weaves an entrancing story around likable, but flawed, characters who find themselves fighting improbable odds in unlikely circumstances. The plot of this story was complex and moved along quite nicely. There were several tastefully provocative love scenes to pique the readers’ interest. [I liked that they didn’t felt natural, not forced or overly contrived.] Though the story of Grace and Drew feels complete, there is plenty of room for other characters to grow throughout the series. I can’t wait to read more by this author.
