Publisher's Summary

From the NYT best-selling author of Breathless with Her comes a fake relationship romance that’s all too real.

Professing her love to her best friend while wearing only her favorite panty set and coat probably wasn’t the best decision Amelia Carr has ever made. In fact, it’s perhaps the worst. But when her family becomes their overprotective selves while encroaching on her life, she makes a rash decision: Her brother’s best friend will just have to be her beard. Too bad he has no idea what he’s in for.

Tucker Reinhard loves women, and they tend to love him even more. Despite the love, he never would have expected Amelia to come up with the plan she poses to him. He’ll go along with it, but only because he doesn’t want to see her hurt - even if that means fighting his best friend.

In the midst of her scheme, Amelia realizes she doesn’t know Tucker as well as she thought. And neither of them are prepared for what happens when they let the façade go and see what truly lies beneath.

Omg!! Must listen!

Absolutely loved the latest book by the author it had a couple twists I didn’t see coming and were great and kept me reading throughout. It’s a page turner and I couldn’t put it down. This book included characters we have seen throughout the series. This is Amelia’s story and the second of the series.

The narrators were great and made the story even better!

Great addition to this series!

This next installment in the Less than series was a great addition to the series that I enjoyed thoroughly. This standalone read tells Tucker and Amelia's story to the HEA with each other that the pair was not at first looking for. Both started their relationship under false pretenses with a fake relationship that turned real as well as with Tucker being Amelia's brother's best friend. Where this sounded like a cliche story line I in the end did not feel that it was as the pair had relationship issues that they worked through and found that in the end that they have feelings for each other despite the other factors that lead them to their relationship. Their story moved along smoothly with a few bumps in the road and the pair had amazing chemistry. In the audio revision, the narration by Jacob Morgan and Samantha Cook was enjoyable and the pair did a great job bringing this story to life. In the end, I would recommend this book to others.

Reckless with you

I absolutely love the Carrs. They have the same close knit, I’ve got your back, dynamic as the Montgomery’s but with a whole different background and feel. One of my favorite tropes is Older siblings that raise their younger siblings, and although it’s a bit different it’s basically how their lives played out. I was kind of surprised (def not in a bad way) that Amelia didn’t end up with her best friend, I couldn’t believe the levels of douchery he hit, but I loved her with Tucker. I also loved having the Melinda and Ethan surprise added in. It’s another one of my favorite tropes. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Caleb and Zoey. The count down clock has been reset.

The audio by Jacob Morgan and Samantha Cook was amazing. I’m not sure I’ve heard performances by either before, but I will be looking for their other narrations.

Another great story

I absolutely loved Amelia and Tucker’s story. You have Amelia who believe she has found the one and unfortunately it doesn’t work out the way she planned. Tucker is her brothers best friend and when her family feels she isn’t happy and they want to help she enlists him to be her new boyfriend. He isn’t sure about the idea but can’t stand to see Amelia sad and wants to help her. Slowly the relationship becomes real, but other matters have a chance to split the new relationship apart. Great read and the characters have great chemistry. Loved it

Well read by both of these narrators. Great job

perfect story

Amelia and Tucker was a pairing that I did not see happening at first. The whole best friends little sister storyline is always a winner with me. The interaction between them was so good that I was rooting for them the whole time. I love how the whole Montgomery family series has expanded to give us more stories about those in the Montgomery realm no matter how distant the connection. I love these audiobooks so much. They make my work day fly by.

Another great one by Carrie Ann Ryan

Amelia was so sure her life was going in a certain direction. She'd been best friends with Tobey forever and she was sure that their feelings of friendly love had evolved into romantic love.... only she was wrong. And she wasn't just a little wrong, but a lot wrong!

And then one slip of the tongue later, she finds herself in a fake relationship with her brother's best friend, Tucker, who has been like a brother to her. But is it just a fake relationship, or is there something more there?

I loved this story. I loved Tucker. I loved the narration. I hated Tobey, but I'm pretty sure I was supposed to.

Definitely A Twist!

I really liked this one! Amelia goes through something that most women truly never want to happen. And you can only imagine how hurt she truly is. Tucker went through literal hell as a child and has managed to find his happiness as an adult but he holds pieces of himself apart in order to keep himself safe. And while you understand why, it makes your heart ache for the things he is missing out on. I loved them together, they made me laugh and their interactions are not only sweet but hot at times. The only thing I didn't like-I felt I was left hanging on why her best friend just suddenly changed. I didn't feel like there was any true closure I guess. I feel like I need to know why he did the things he did and how he could just cut someone out of his life like that. Or tell tales the way he apparently was. Other than that-I loved the book!

As usual you can't go wrong with the narrator's! Jacob Morgan and Samantha Cooke brings these characters to life in a way that makes you want to keep listening. There aren't any crazy accents (That gets on my nerves sometimes!) and they both bring across the emotions in the story without making it seem like they are forcing anything. Which I really liked! All in all, a great listen!

Love this family and series.

This is Amelia’s story. She is an amazing strong woman who just happens to make an a$$ out of herself when she tells her best friend that she lives him only to realize that he doesn’t feel the same way. Tobey and Amelia have been friends forever and everyone thought they would be together but she realizes that is not the case. Tucker who happens to be her brother’s best friend wants to help anyway he can. In this case it means acting like her fake boyfriend. These two have such chemistry that I loved every minute of this story. I highly recommend this series.

Great Story with interesting twists

I really really enjoyed listening to this story, The audio narration by Jacob Morgan and Samantha Cook was wonderful, I will look for books by these two narrators. I loved the story that at first seemed a little shallow. But then revealed how wonderful the characters really were. So great. I will look for more in this series
