Publisher's summary

Everyone has skeletons in their closet, but Rain's are learning to open the door.

Rain's lost everything in the last decade. Her grandmother, her brother, and her family home might be next. All she has is Graham - a powerful Fae who illegally escaped the Fae Realm and has been her best friend ever since. Until Ezra - the sexiest Vampire she's ever seen - commissions her for one hell of a job. Cleansing dozens of vengeful spirits from an abandoned mansion for a life changing amount of money.

All Rain wants is to focus on her budding relationship with Ezra, but the ghosts in the mansion have awoken the ones Rain has spent a decade trying to keep locked up. But Rain isn't the only one with secrets. Ezra has a few of his own.

Interesting

This was my first paranormal vampire/fae/human book. I have to say it didn't disappoint. Yes there was some magical aspects but everything was explained and had a purpose. I really enjoyed the narrators Angelina Rocca and Corvin king. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series

Fantastic

The narration was AMAZING in this book. I tried to read this when it first came out but it wasn’t clicking for me so I didn’t get far but when I saw it come to audible with male and female narration I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. I’m usually more into rh books…I think this is headed into a small harem but I’m not sure. This does have a great storyline tho. And Gram that accent yum. The fmc is decent too not my absolute favorite but not bad. She’s at least not super naive or anything. It’s multiple pov that’s a must for me. I hope to see the rest on audible soon.

So good!

The performance of the narrators where so good! I loved the fact it was done in a duet and think more audiobooks should be done that way. The book was also very good and enjoyable! The authors managed to make the FMC interesting and strong, whilst also avoiding a lot of the annoying misunderstandings that a lot of authors fall for. Yes, some misunderstandings where there, but it got solved in a good way! Looking forward to the next book 🤩

good

this book was really good! the narrators were fantastic! I love graham and Warren! don't care for Ezra or Rain! I started to really dislike the fmc towards the end. she is very selfish and self centered with no emotional maturity! Ezra is too emotional and a hypocrite as is rain. hope both characters grow in the upcoming books! I hope Graham and Warren become a thing and find a better female and ditch the other two!

Lacking Plot Development

What a waste of 11 hours and 19 minutes. I kept waiting for a plot that never developed. The world building was lackluster, at best. The characters were unrelatable and annoying. The book felt emotionally flat and overall unfinished.
