Rare danger

This was a quick story. I would’ve enjoyed more of a developed story, but I went into this knowing it was a novella, so it would be ridiculous for me to complain about the length. I will say that there was A LOT in this novella and in my opinion, it was too much for the length. With so much going on - murders, new romance, people on the run, etc., it was all wrapped up in a pretty little bow just a little too easy. The story left me wanting more.
Kim Staunton did a good job as always with the narration.

Beverly Jenkins never disappoints. It was a short read that had solid character development and a great plot.

Loved it, along with all of her many others!

I have every book by Ms. Jenkins, she is a great author. I can't wait for her next title. Really enjoyed the next one, hope to read more about Third and Jazmine.

First. I love this author and narrator! Hate that it was so short. But as always well written!

i loved it

I've read and listened to many of her books and am a huge fan. it was short but still enjoyable. I'm used to her historical romances but I'm enjoying her mysteries. I will continue to seek out her mysteries.
