Everlasting

Such a beautiful story and narration of the hardships and breakthrough moments of the Gouchè-Farris family! I feel honored to have listened to this audiobook after the passing of Ms. Jackie. I now understand the militancy of the Farris brothers and understand why their love for music is unstoppable and the person, the matriarch responsible for it.

I heard, felt, and saw myself in her story. Very endearing story of a woman navigating life, love, and motherhood..with all of its joys and trials.

What stood out to me was the sound effects of live music and music audio when her and her son’s were singing together

I literally feel like I went through everything with Mrs.Jackie I love her narration and the music audio of some of the events while she was talking about her family I love that she had her sons narrating too their parts of their story it was beautiful

Absolutely captivating

Jackie captivated my attention from the instant the book began! She is honestly the most enthusiastic narrator that I have had the pleasure of listening to! I especially loved it when her sons joined in to share their voices and unique point of view. I could listen to a series of her books. What incredible talent!
