Just a really OK series

This was a fine series. Not great. Not bad. Just mediocre. It’s not one of those books you can’t put down, but it’s still interesting enough to finish.

character development

I loved it! Great characters and great story lines. I loved America falls as well.

Great series!

The narrator did a fabulous job. This is the first book I've listened to with him narrating.

The story is extremely good. The monsters are terrifying, as are some of the humans. Character development is done well. I felt an emotional connection with some of them. There were a few really good surprises along the way too.

held my attention all the way. This book was new and refreshing. I'm so glad I started it. Seems like original stories are so far in-between these days

Not great.

I was excited for this series having just finished listening to The America Falls series. This series was however a big disappointment for me. I felt back story and character development were lacking. Not knowing anything about the characters made it difficult to care about any of them until much further into the series after some relationship with them finally developed. I was actually relieved when the story was done so I could move on to something else… On a positive note though the narrator was terrific just as he was with American Falls.

Really enjoyed this take

I was not sure what to except but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this. Glad I took a chance on this book and look forward to other books by him.

Slapstick Canine Bafoonery

I can deal with rabid dog packs, but not ones who are flaming kamikazies, running 40 mph while on fire taking out a school bus. Sounds like a marvel comic book. Not even realistic for a SciFi book. Sorry……

excellent

this was by far the best of all the series books. I hope there are additional books that involve these characters
