Quinton
After the best one-night stand ever, I discover the man I thought was perfect is anything but. Leo Rodgers is an arrogant surgeon who lords his expertise and experience over everyone. Well, not me. I’m a competent nurse who refuses to be pushed around. By anyone.
So I flirt with him to annoy him, but there are more fish in the sea than Leo. I have no problem getting a date with a man or a woman when I want one. The problem? I find myself increasingly hung up on a cranky surgeon, whose soft moments with his two children give me hope there's a good man under the arrogance.
Leo
Quinton Yi is a pain in my ass. After our disastrous, but oh-so-memorable one-night stand, I find myself having to work with him. His flirting is driving me nuts, so I can't be blamed for snapping at him. What part of one-night doesn't he understand?
My ex-husband once tried to tell me that I was a pompous asshat. On the contrary—I just have no time for trivia. I need to be skilled and focused so my patients have the best chance of survival. One devastating loss, though, sends me spiraling. Suddenly, I’m realizing how fallible I am. And that by rejecting Quinton, I might’ve lost my best chance at finding happiness again.
Quinton’s Quest is an enemies-to-lovers, interracial, age-gap, grumpy/sunshine, single father, small-town romance gay novel. This story has a grumpy egotistical surgeon and a sunshine sassy nurse who might just give him his comeuppance.

He could have done things differently but given what he witnessed, I can totally understand why he did what he did.
After everything that happened with his ex, Leo moved to Mission City to be closer to him so his ex can spend time with their kids.
There, meets Quinton, a ray of sunshine personified. The two immediately connect in a way neither expected.
After the most epic one-night stand, Quinton finds out the two will be working together but a dismissive comment from Leo, things go downhill. From that day on, Quinton and Leo simply clash at every turn.
Leo’s opinion of nurses isn’t exactly the best one after a mishap at his old hospital. Something Quinton took personal offense to.
But despite the things going awry, Quinton couldn’t help falling for Leo. Their attraction was too strong to ignore and he didn’t want to fight it anymore.
Their beginning might have been a rocky one, but Leo knew Quinton was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
I loved how supportive Gideon and Archer were of his relationship. They found a commons ground and gave way to forgiveness. Maybe Leo didn’t do things the right way, but his actions were justified.
I love this series so much. Each story just gets better and better. Can’t wait for Finn’s book.
Thank you Michael Dean for another fantastic narration.
Leo got his HEA too

I loved the hints we got for a book I hoped we get about a firefighter who appeared in this story and was very happy that Gabbi confirmed that Finn's story will be coming soon.
I don’t know why but audiobooks don’t often bring me to tears like reading with my eyes but this one hit me hard in the feels and, to me, that’s the best compliment I can give a book. I loved listening to Michael Dean's performance.
So good!
