Publisher's summary
Do you long to live with purpose? Have you wondered what that purpose is and how to fulfill it? You are not alone; young and old alike grapple with this and question their specific role in life. Many go through the motions every day, accept whatever life gives them, and hope to somehow bump into their purpose. Others do not believe they even have one. This book exposes that lie. You do have a purpose. It's time to discover what it is and take the steps necessary to possess it.

Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction,” eating little and weighing herself five times a day. She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income.

There is no bigger public health story now than the collapse in youth mental health. The numbers are terrifying and dominate our headlines. There has been much debate over how we got here, and what to do next, and bestselling author and social psychologist Jonathan Haidt is at the white-hot center of that discourse. Haidt has spent his career speaking wisdom and truth into the most difficult landscapes—communities polarized by politics and religion, campuses battling culture wars, and now the perfect storm contributing to a public health emergency for Gen Z.

Inspiring and a Blessing!
What did you love best about Push Your Way to Purpose?
It opened my eyes to the things that I have allowed to hold me back. Gave me that will and fight to push forward.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Push Your Way to Purpose?
Discovering that I do have a purpose and one that I can now embrace without any doubts.
What does Adrienne Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Passion. Confidence. That amazing ability to draw the listener in and hold their attention throughout.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. I've actually listened to it twice in one day. It moved me that much.
Any additional comments?
I highly recommend this book. Ms. Ross is an amazing soul and you can hear it and feel it as you listen to her throughout her book. She gives you that hope and opens up that awareness that there is more to your life than what you may be living now. Truly, truly inspiring.

Enjoyable and encouraging. Very uplifting!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Adrienne told real life stories from her experiences that gave examples of how to live out the principles she shared.
What about Adrienne Ross’s performance did you like?
She spoke in her down to earth and enthusiastic way. Her voice is pleasant and she made the stories fun to listen to.
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
That sometimes you have to let go of something to get something, also, that the way I see myself can sometimes hold me back, if I don't know the truth. That success is attainable, if you work for it.
Any additional comments?
Having walked through her journey the past few years on Facebook with her, it was great to hear about her accomplishments and how she achieved them. She makes you feel that if she can do it, you can, too. She inspires you to do great things. Great book!

Push it! Real Good!
I was blown away by this book. Ross is an inspiration! The Life principles and the stories sheshares sare wise, amusing, and moving. Ross' down to earth/street wise/no nonsense approach to the tenants of realizing your purpose is a breath of fresh air that brings hope and motivation to the reader/listener. Ross' story moves and motivates the reader to stop wasting time and to start living life and to do it purposefully. Her nuggets of wisdom stay with you... even if you "can't want to". Profound yet spoken with the simplicity of a caring friend, Push your way to purpose will take you on a journey through Ross' life and may be the first step in you realizing the meaning to your life.

Prayer and Purpose
Reading Adrienne’s book PUSH YOUR WAY TO PURPOSE was a blessing to me. Not only does she welcome the reader/audience into her life, but her personal anecdotes encourage and inspire (as well as made me laugh). I’ve had the opportunity to listen to Adrienne Ross speak on two occasions and her presence, character, and humor is perfectly captured in the recording doe audio. The icing on the cake for me was the end of the book where she related to historic Harriet Tubman and then revealed that she’s prayed for all her readers. I believe she has and I was blessed with her prayer and her book!

"Permit your Purpose to Propel you!!"
This is one of the statements that Adrienne Ross makes in her book. It caught my attention and has helped me become even more motivated to push toward my purpose in life. A statement so simple yet so powerful!! No matter what your age this book will inspire you to truly be all that you were meant to be and not to settle for anything less.

Wow!
What did you love best about Push Your Way to Purpose?
I love how Adrienne (the author) has been able to use her every day life to show us what we need to do to PUSH our way to PURPOSE! Adrienne has many stories in her book about her life such as her cat, Trooper, she uses her cat to show us a bigger picture in life. This is just one of her many things that she talks about in this amazing book. To hear her voice in her audio book brings the book to LIFE!
What other book might you compare Push Your Way to Purpose to and why?
I honestly cannot compare Push Your Way To Purpose to any other book that I have personally read. Why, well simply put because I've never had a book that I have felt spoke directly to me. It touched my life for sure!
What does Adrienne Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
By listening instead of reading Adrienne's book I was able to multitask. Listen, crochet, and relax all at once. Crocheting is my hobby and I love to read a good book when I'm not crocheting. She made it to where I could do BOTH amazing! Also Adrienne brought this book to life with her strong accent and charter coming out to remind you of her home roots that she talks about in this book.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Push Your Way To Purpose definetly made me laugh. She told a story about one of her personal trainers that once had a saying and would tell her she was supposed to make the exercise harder and not easier. She would then go on to say internally "the devil is a liar I do not want to make it harder." This made me laugh along with many other things throughout the book because I can relate to this and Adrienne's strong accent came out during this time making it all the more funnier. Cry you ask, yes this book did actually make me cry as well. Why you ask, because Adrienne at the end made me realise I am worth the effort to succeed in where I need to be. Often times I go through life trying to please other never really worrying about me. If I want to succeed however this book says I must start what I have finished which with words from a wise woman i have began. This book was needed to help me PUSH myself to my PURPOSE.
Any additional comments?
If you do not have this book I would highly recommend you get it. I think the audio gives this book life and character for sure. It will definetly bless you no matter your age: youth, adult, and senior citizens.
