Kate Foebes is one of my favorite narrators. she makes the scenes come to life.

Another exciting episode

I believe these stories would work well as standalones, but I am enjoying reading them in series order. But I used to say about “Murder She Wrote” on TV, “Never go to a l party with Jessica Fletcher. You’ll become either a murder victim or a murder suspect.” Now I say, “Never become a missing person on Nikki Boyd’s case. Your life and the lives of your loved ones will suddenly be in danger.” I don’t like the way the narrator does male voices, especially Tyler.

A Tense Plot -- almost maudlin at times --

Almost a little too overwhelming, one traumatic event after another. I still give it 5 stars.

Mystery, Suspense, Romance, and Inspiration

This series keeps getting better and Better. I love when I can depend on an Authors integrity. Lisa Harris is wonderful in the way she writes. Not only the depth of her characters but the big picture of what Faith means in a believers life. Without the bad language and sex scenes.
Kate Forbes is an awesome narrator.

Too slow

I love this author she is very good but this book was exhausting slow narrative very slow

Way too much death

The first 2 of this series were intriguing and well written…although a little over the top in the crisis events that Nikki encounters. I can overlook that with a good storyline, which they both had. This one as well, although a little less believable with all of the drama packed into a mere 48 hours. There was simply too much death, murder, brutality that could’ve easily been left out. Though the story kept me interested to see what the outcome would be, with every new character introduced, I found myself thinking how is this one going to die? Not exactly an inspiring read/listen.

reader is bad

I could not complete this book as the reader made it so very boring

Boring

I got to chapter 4 and called it quits. The narrator's voice put me to sleep. No emotion. Very monotone. Just boring. Couldn't stand to listen to her any longer. I will never know if this lives up to it's 4.6 stars because I marked it finished and archived it.!!
