Story
The plane is jam-packed. Every seat is taken. So of course the flight is delayed! Flight attendant Allegra Patel likes her job—she’s generally happy with her life, even if she can’t figure out why she hooks up with a man she barely speaks to—but today is her twenty-eighth birthday. She can think of plenty of things she’d rather be doing than placating a bunch of grumpy passengers.

Story
Kidnappers grabbed Jenna in broad daylight, right in front of her children and their horrified classmates. Her family was issued an insane ransom demand: $25 million in cash and jewels, payable by the end of the school day, otherwise they’ll never see her again. As Jenna’s mother scrambles to gather the money, detectives Mo Butler and George Ortega follow the trail of the kidnappers, which will lead them through a sordid landscape of jealous lovers, broken dreamers, and twisted schemers. But every second counts, and there’s one thing Jenna Wade doesn’t have: very much time.

Story
For the last 100,000 years, we Sapiens have accumulated enormous power. But despite all our discoveries, inventions, and conquests, we now find ourselves in an existential crisis. The world is on the verge of ecological collapse. Misinformation abounds. And we are rushing headlong into the age of AI—a new information network that threatens to annihilate us. For all that we have accomplished, why are we so self-destructive? Nexus looks through the long lens of human history to consider how the flow of information has shaped us, and our world.

Raw and empowering
I Love it! It echoes of some of my own struggles but with keen incite that I’m gonna use in my own life. My family always tell I’m too harsh to which I’ve always responded with “I’m so much harder on my self “. This book gives me hope that I can stop kicking my own ass and by extension start treating those around me with more tenderness and love. Thanks Zach

Poorly cut together
Not enough intro about what you’ll be hearing. Segments are funny but it’s just oddly cobbled together, not in a good way.

You're kidding me
Maybe it's pregnancy hormones but this book had met throat tight and almost in tears more times than I could count. This poor girl, her poor life. Even knowing what I know now, I can't help but feel terribly sorry for her. Highly recommended!
