The amount of times he tells Aris he loves her in this book is ridiculous.

I love you Aris, like 10 times calm down bro.

this really is a wonderful series. It mostly has everything I like, dungeons, battles, swords and magics, etc. Have already read the next book and it gets even better.

wonderful series

Wow I can’t even! First the story was great and looking forward to the next one! However if I hear the main character say I love you one more time I’m going to lose it! Like we get man!

Good lord!

admittedly I'm more of a fan of codename freedom but this series has grown on me. if you liked the past couple then you won't be disappointed by this one and if you are looking at this one to decide about the series as a while then I'd recommend it even if it isn't typically the style you enjoy.

great addition to the series

I have really enjoyed this series. The story and performance are first class. I do feel a bit cheated by the shortness of this book. I know the first book was shorter but it was free so no problem. I like my books to be at least 10 hours.

Great story but a bit short

This is another example of greedy publishers trying to squeeze out more money from the same content. Books 3 and 4 should have been combined to make a solid book worth the $25-$30 retail. Well, at least the first 2 chapters of book 5 were included to extend the audio length and give us a teaser.
(2nd choice: combine books 4 & 5)

Other than its brevity, the story continues to be interesting, fun, and RPG-progression. Yes, the numbers get ridiculous, but we begin to understand the scale of true power of the Underworld. I'm glad to see more character development of the other 20 humans. Great job with the storytelling. (I'm already on book 5, and it's worth continuing.)

Way too short

I love everything about this series… except for the character sheet. The only complaint I have is that the character stat exposition gets tedious. That said, I would like to acknowledge that, given the genre some of that is necessary. I think VGO strikes a better balance and that reader does a better job of having fun with the character sheets.

Great… but.

This was a good continuation of the story, going in a logical direction. I really enjoyed the way in which most of the story played out, although not perfect it was good. I felt most of the characters and their relationships with one another continued to grow and develop and my only complaint here is some times parts read a bit odd, but acceptable. The story as a whole this part included are definitely worth a listen and if you enjoy a dungeon deliver type story you should enjoy this one.

A good listen

I find myself more and more intrigued to see how this world is being built. I am also interested to see where the character development eventually winds up. I like these books in the series hopefully it will not slow down any.

Good pacing I like where this is going
