A preparation book that gets everything ready for next couple of books. Don’t expect much action but seems to set up this leg of the series well.

You did it again
I love this series by far my favorite of all audiobook the story just gets better and better. I hope it never ends. I wish they turn this into a TV show or a movie.

Too much build up
I am a huge fan of this series but I feel like the last two books in this series had way more build up of sub characters and their romance or lack there of. The thing I always loved about these books is how the main character grew in strength and power. Now a war is coming and he did very little to grow just shopped, party and told back stories of characters you just don’t get invested in because they don’t have long arch’s. Hopefully, in a year or two when the next book comes out this will change.

Too slow
I’m a huge fan of the series and I was really excited when the last two books came out unfortunately they have seemed to take more of a slice of life direction than I’ve been used to with the rest of the series. I’m really sad that there’s so much buildup in each of these books and very little pay off. I hope this gets better.
