One of my favorite Stoker books!

Preacher and Maggie had an instant connection. I loved how he wasn’t ashamed of being a virgin at his age and the book didn’t hyper focus on that topic but it endeared him to me because of his belief in true love. I got a kick out of his first reaction to sex! Maggie needed and craved human connection and I think that’s what instantly made me compassionate towards her. She had no one to lean on and life wouldn’t give her a break. I think that’s what made their relationship so special. There is a portion of the story involving Macguyver that pulled at my heartstrings so much I wanted to cry. I’m so looking forward to his story! I just loved this one so much! Ryan West was awesome as Preacher as was Emma wilder for Maggie.

Beautiful narration.

Maggie and “Preacher.” She’s a convicted felon. Set up by a high level naval officer no less. He’s a Navy SEAL and a virgin. Waiting for the right woman.

This is definitely a wild ride. I listened to it in one day. Another Susan Stoker gem.

Really loved this book. It is Susan at her best . Loved Preacher and Maggie and all the twists and turns , especially the detour into Ukraine 🇺🇦

great story as always. lots of love and action. this is not a story like others. this plot was exciting and original. a must read!
