Good but..

Storyline good but the constant musing about what Kelsey and Hunt felt about each other was tiresome. Enough already! Stick to the storyline!

Romantic Who Done It and Why?

Complex heroine falls for strong protector. They struggle with many problems and separate for many reasons. However, they are drawn back to each other again and again until they can no longer deny to themselves that they love each other and belong together.

Amy Landon is Great

storyline was great. Amy Landon is my favorite performer... her voice changes are perfect. again, I love sex and definitely not a prude, but not so much descriptive sex in a thriller. sex and big manly men who are protective of and falling for the strong yet troubled woman is greatness, but in an artistic descriptive way, not pornographic. won't keep me away, however, due to Naughton's thrilling storytelling.

It started off good.

The first half was good. The last part was meh. I liked the last book better.

Sometimes it doesn’t pay to be connected

This story was fast paced and action filled...it started off with a bang! The only sister in the McLane clan, Kelsey has finally divorced her abusive husband and is ready to move on. Except someone wants her to move under...6’ under! Hunt has had a thing for Kelsey, his best friend’s sister for a decade and has stood on the sidelines watching. Now she’s free and he’s been hired to protect her. Hunt can protect Kelsey from her ex, but can he protect her from an unknown enemy? Although the book was fast paced, most of the actual bad guy drama was over very quickly...a bit anticlimactic. Still a good book. Great series.

Absolutely worth a read. I don't have a badge thing to say about any of the books in this series

Not as great as other books in series

While I really enjoyed the other books in this series, this one was just meh. Not as much emphasis on the plot and hardly any action, fairly easy to guess outcomes made It underwhelming. Narrator did a great job.

Ok read have it 3 stars

Didn't care for all the anxiety over the violence. Unfortunately, I did not feel as much empathy for the heroine. Taking the blame and feeling accountable for every act of violence perpetrated on her was exasperating not entertaining. I understand survivors ' guilt , however, for some reason this character annoyed me, with the panic attacks and the aversion to violence, the fear the hero's military background.... My least favorite book of the series.

Mystery, Suspence, and Romance

This story started off with a bang, in the literal sense. With a bomb. From there,Kelsey and Hunter teamed up to figure out who was really behind the explosion and the threats. The suspense and angst grew with every twist and turn of events unfolding. Well written characters and riveting story line, I was on the edge of my seat through the whole thing. Amy Landon narrative brought the book to life. I do recommend both the book and the audio to Ramance and Non-Romance readers alike.

Good mystery book

I enjoyed all the books in this series. The stories are the best part. The sex part are over done and take seat from the mystery. This book and the two before are book books
