In His Protection

De: Sandra Owens

Narrado por: Patrick Zeller

A small town sheriff running from her past learns to love again in the first book in K-9 Defenders, a suspenseful new romance series from award-winning author Sandra Owens.

Every small town has its secrets…

Chief of police Tristan Church likes Marsville just the way it is. He has his job and his police dog, Fuzz, for company. He could have Sheriff Skylar Morgan, too, but she’s determined to keep him at arm’s length, even if the one night they shared was unforgettable.

Skylar can’t deny that the connection she has with Tristan is unlike anything she’s ever felt before. She loves Marsville, but while most of the town is happy with her as Sheriff, it’s been a long, hard road proving herself. Dating the town’s beloved police chief is the last thing her reputation needs—even if it’s exactly what her heart wants.

But when their sleepy little town is suddenly full of dangers, it’s clear that someone is targeting Skylar. She and Tristan must work together to find the culprit…and as the threat against her grows, so does the intimacy between them. With their lives on the line, can they trust their hearts not to break?

Excellent Series

I have always loved stories with animals and the people who loved them. I will recommend this book and series to anyone and hope there will be more. Thank You.

In his Protection

This is my favorite book by Sandra Owens so far. Not a slow book the story flows very well. It is suspenseful and leaves you wanting more.

Another great read by the talented Mrs. Owens !

In a nod to previous works Mrs. Owens has the ability to give the reader so many experiences in one book . So many authors are one sided , but Sandra let’s the reader in a world of romance and suspense. You never lack for interest as something new comes around each turn . A great new read as Sandra has proven a master of her craft .

Rated R

Good story, the narrator was very good. The sex did not add anything to the book. Matter of fact just fast forward to story.

Made me laugh

A little too much detail on the sex scenes. I prefer to use my imagination.
