Just as great as the first.

I liked the characters and the cameos by Nathan and Melanie. The twist came out of nowhere. But I can tell sit needed something to create a climax.

What a swoony story. This was the perfect palette cleanser book. Drake James went from the typical no woman man to a man ready to burn the world for his woman. And Amelia is a force of nature who doesn’t back down. I love how she stands up for herself and doesn’t let anyone tell her what to do…..well….with reason🥵. Which leads into the spice. So well written and not overly dramatic.

My ONLY negative with this story is the relationship development. We all love a good enemies to lovers situation, and this falls in line alittle with that. Once they determine to only be boss/employee, Drake really turns up the grumpiness, which, again, we all love a grump/sunshine. But what I struggled with was that, before there was ever another talk, kiss, intimate moment, anything between them, Amelia is telling herself she’s in love with him? I just don’t get how they can go from barely being on friendly speaking terms to BAM-I love him. All before they reconcile……I think I had the first book expectations and didn’t realize how different the stories were. So don’t go into this one thinking it’s like book one. It’s waaaaaay different.

Wonderful read!!! Love Drakes voice!! Amelia was good until she started sounding like she was just trashed alllll the time. I’m guessing that must have been considered “sexy voice”?! Made it a little annoying but overall it was great! Chapter 14 was the best!!!!!

Fantastic listen, amazing story! Loved everything about this one. The writing is so great you feel like you’re right there in the story! The narrators did an excellent job as well! You can’t go wrong with this one! I can’t wait for the next one!
