Andy:

If my life was a movie, I would be the sidekick. Not an especially promising start when my plan is to finally let my best friend know I have a crush on him. I just need a complete makeover. Change everything about myself so that when Falcon returns from his summer vacation, he can finally see I'm the love of his life. I need somebody to tutor my hockey team, and Andy needs somebody to help him with his crush. Only the more time I spend with Andy, the more I like this quirky guy who makes me laugh, and pretty soon I'm the one who's tutoring Andy in way more than we initially agreed upon. But as weeks pass and the chemistry between us turns explosive, I'm starting to think that I might be in way over my head with Andy. If only I could make Andy realize that he doesn't need to change himself for love. If only I could make Andy see that he just needs to be with somebody who has considered him perfect all along . . .

good narration. interesting story with humourous situations and dialogue, love the characters and hope Falcon gets a story too

Great story

Boy meets boy, boy helps boy, boy falls in love with boy. What could be better? As a man that grew up in the 60’s and 70’s I enjoy these stories set in a modern world where sexual orientation isn’t a factor of concern or a limiting factor in your professional life. Love is love. 🏳️‍🌈

Fun, quirky Nerd & Jock HEA, great banter, engaging characters.. Andy & Law are all that

Be careful what you wish for… Andy and Falcon are best friends, Andy has hero worship and hearts in his eyes, Falcon is oblivious. Law needs help getting his players to past a class and promises to help Andy get Falcon. Working together, they find a whole lot more than tutoring and lessons on how to get the guy.

loved this book, but not the narrators

the narration was cringy. I got used to it and was able to ignore it, but it did this book such a disservice. Andy came across like he was autistic or something instead of being quirky,quiet,weird. slow burn, excellent plot progress, plenty of good tension in all the ways that you'd expect in real life. love often hits hard, unexpectedly. just love how Law loved Andy despite Andy's insecurities. because we are all insecure and this was just so relatable.

Cute Couple

This was such a cute story. The couple is too cute together and you know they belong together. Also liked that the epilogue was 10 years later so you here about their future

This was very cute, I like how Briar knows how to write very witty characters and it’s very easy to fall in love with them.

Been obsessed with LGBTQIA books for awhile now and this one is wonderful. Very recognizable voices from other books I’ve loved. It was a cute romantic story that was sweet from beginning to end.

Loved it! The chemistry was great between the MCs. The narrators did a great job. Low angst easy listen.
