ok got to be honest great story so good the virtual voice nearly ruined it. So all the more impressive that I finished the book so that should tell you the story was really good.

A Modern Supernatural Romance

So this is a very modern story with a dating app as the main driving force. I did enjoy this story and really liked both of the MC's here. I can also say that with this being a fast paced and "fated mates" style book it felt good. I am not a person into social media and at times it really felt like that was added to make the story feel relatable. I enjoyed the spice and world building that was added. The whole story felt like a fun laid back no angst read.

I listed to this as a audiobook and it was does with Audible's Virtual Voice. for the most part it was okay but there was times it was jarring. Many times it would pronounce names differently and say a word strangely. The experience reminded me of using a screen reader for E-Books.

okish read

The book is ok. Not a ton of plot just a clean cut dating story. I’d think of it as a bit of a simple palate cleanser between other reads if you're into the description of the book

The narration honestly wasn't as terrible as I expected. I guess it's gotten better since the last time I tried it. That said, it very frequently mispronounces Dylan's name as "Die-lan" (rhymes with die, pie, sky, etc). Can't explain that bit but it's easy to not care about since the whole thing is computer voice

Anyways don't expect too much going in, but the story itself is ok enough on its own

I hate the virtual voice

The robot voice constantly mispronounced words (including the main characters name) so following the story was difficult and it's monotone made what was a very fun story a trudge to get through. do yourself a favor and just find this book on kindle

Very poor narration with virtual voice

The story wasn’t bad but the narration was so terrible it was hard to recognize the good points of the story. The fact that one main character’s name was mispronounced 90% of the time - in several different ways - was just one of many examples.
