Publisher's summary

The city of Antas has been liberated, the dread lich Zoridos is dead, and the newly Evolved player Lily fled to parts unknown. Now, though, Aranos' real trials begin.

Geltheriel's Cleansing Quest is an impossible task, one set by a treacherous elven elder who wants Aranos to fail. To complete it, he has to travel to the lands of humans and dwarves, where he'll find new enemies and have to build new alliances, all while rediscovering powers lost for centuries.

His enemies aren't idle, though, and now the dark god Morx has taken a personal hand in the Sorcerer Ascendant's defeat.

Restoring the Arcane Doors is impossible. Freeing the lands of Darkness is impossible. Facing the Lord of Nightmares is beyond impossible.

But Aranos is determined to do the impossible. To overcome his enemies and protect those he loves, he'll have to wield powers beyond magic. He'll need to become more than a wielder of spells; he must become the Primal Sorcerer!

annoying

why do I have to write something instead of just hitting the stars and submitting it?

Overpowered main character

it's gotten stupid. stats and insane bonuses don't even matter when the MC can just will anything to happen. every other character is irrelevant when it comes to combat or crafting. they only add dialog to boost the MCs ego who still isn't impressive while being that overpowered. His "tactics" and "cleverness" still aren't any better than basic mmo party dynamics that even 10 year Olds understand. him being so superior reminds me of the movie idiocracy.

Highly underrated series

MC is so OP but damn I still enjoy this series! This authors output is INSANE, but the work still remains pretty solid (with some weak points here and there, but to be expected with this much content) but if you're not the overly picky type, I would highly recommend. Has actually become one of my all time fav litrpg's.

Why ruin a good story.

I hate rape in story's! I stopped reading after Lily took over the palace and would not shut up about having the queen rapped. WHY!?! I mean from book 1-3 "things" happen to Geltheriel then book 4 "the queen was gang rapped until she cried and beg to stop", that's a big fucking gap. The author was sensitive and subtle about Lily being rapped as a child and what Lily did to Geltheriel in the first book, then they wouldn't shut up about the queen being rapped. [To the author. thanks for making and destroying a good series for me.]

Great continuation

picked up where it left off, great character development and progression, the different pov's were not distracting and added to story development. basil's baritone voice did good job.
