Totally Satisfying! I loved it!

Complex family dynamics …unconscionable corporate greed. Two very different cases … and so much at stake for two very different defendants. At the center of both cases, prescription medication … it’s use … or it’s misuse. Let the jury be the judge … with Leland’s help of course … “Prescribing Doubt” - filled with legal wrangling, fantastic realistic characters, shenanigans and the courtroom drama I so LOVE, all beautifully enhanced by convincingly authentic narration! This fabulous five star addition to a stellar series should not be missed!

Such a great series!

I have enjoyed every single one in this series, but this one is definitely my favorite…Partly because I really enjoyed the storyline about the nurse because I’m a retired nurse and I definitely know about the medication dispensing machine. We called it the Pixis. Judy‘s case was fascinating also and I got a little tickled at her strange demeanor. I am bummed that Terry has revealed something personally that I hope will change in future novels! I hope this author keeps this series up. And the narration is spot on also! Highly recommend.

Excellent Legal Thriller

Prescribing Doubt is another great legal thriller focusing on lawyer Leland Munroe as he defends two innocent clients. The audio book has mysteries and plot twists which keep your listening interest. The audio book is realistic in its content. The characters were well developed. I highly recommend this excellent audiobook.

Great Story, and Narration

Another great story from Kirkland and Hall—packed with tension, likable characters, and plenty of twists and turns. The narrator really brings the plot to life, making it an immersive listen from start to finish. I’m already looking forward to the next installment.

The authors, Peter Kirkland and Daleth Hall, demonstrate a confident command of storytelling, weaving two separate cases into a layered narrative that remains clear and easy to follow. Despite the complexity, the structure is fluid and engaging, with each thread unfolding purposefully. The characters are authentic and seamlessly integrated, their motivations and choices feeling natural rather than forced. Subtle callbacks to earlier books reward longtime readers while still welcoming newcomers, adding depth without slowing the pace. Vivid descriptions bring scenes to life, and the plot twists arrive unexpectedly yet feel fully earned, fitting smoothly into the narrative. Overall, the authors blend complexity, authenticity, and suspense into a polished, compelling read.

The narrator, J J Hosenfeld, delivers a polished performance, giving each character a distinct voice that makes conversations easy to follow and adds depth to the story. His tonal inflection and steady cadence bring scenes vividly to life, drawing the listener into every moment. He speaks with clarity and uses just the right balance of emotion and suspense to heighten tension without overplaying it. It’s an engaging performance that makes the audiobook especially enjoyable to experience.

I’ve had the pleasure of listening to every book in this series, and each installment only deepens my appreciation for these characters and the nonstop action. This series continues to deliver, and I look forward to every new release.
