Mr. Hockeypants

I have listened to several books in this series so I'm invested in these relationship. Jaxon Holland and Cara find themselves in a less than ideal situation. Cara has a BIG secrets. Acting on there feelings have them in a possibly great place but once again Mr. Hockeypants has everything crumbling in their world. Can Cara and Jaxon over come?! Reagan West does and amazing job, well done.

Another good hockey story in this series

This enemies to lovers romance was a really good read. Jaxon was really easy to fall in love with. I loved how he fell head over heals for Cara and didn't hesitate to show her even when she wasn't ready. Cara made some mistakes along the way and this is one of those stories where you know what she is doing is going to come back at her, but it was a good story.

The narration was good, although I would have enjoyed it more to have a man read Jaxon's part, but it didn't detract from the story at all. Such a good series!

Love Hockey then you need to listen to this series

Book 5 in the Boys if Winter Series and just when you think it can’t get any better S.R. Grey gives us an even more adorable hockey hottie to fall in love with this time it’s Jaxon Holland’s story.
Jaxon is not only a top player for the Las Vegas Wolves he is also a top player with the ladies well at least he was until he messed a play up an a blogger known only by Mr Hockeypants gets on his case making his life miserable. The off season has come just at the right time and he takes up a teammates offer of a few weeks in a secluded beach house what he doesn’t expect is the house to be already occupied by a stunning sassy girl named Cara Milne.
What starts off very rocky soon becomes a romance made in heaven when Jaxon turns in his charm to win Cara over and just when you think they have both found their soulmate a bombshell drops ....Mr Hockeypants is really a Ms. Can Jaxon ever forgive the person who made his life a misery.
Boys of Winter is one of my favourite hockey series and S.R.Grey has become one of my go to authors, I love her style of writing and I’m loving the narration of this great series. Each book can be read or listened to as a stand-alone. The narrator did a great job with the banter and the chemistry was electrifying.

Sweet, hot, and fun Story!

This is the fifth book in the Boys of Winter Series. I love this Series, and this is a really sweet, sexy, hot and fun listen. Cara and Jaxon are both great characters! Jaxon is a hockey player and Cara a sport blogger who write under the name of Mr. Hockeypants. They share an undeniable chemistry. I love their happy ending. I have already read the next book in the Series, Vows on Ice, and I totally recommend it. The narration was well done, and easy to understand. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Mr. Hockeypants

This book was so so good, I truly enjoyed it so much, the story is entertaining, hilarious, and fast paced.

Jaxon and Cara had a rough beginning with their first encounter, bur the Chemestry between them is explosive, sparks fly everytime they are together and their banter is so good, so hilarious.

But Cara is determined to not let anything happen happen between them, because she is Mr. Hockey Pants aka Jaxon nemesis, and if he finds out, hell is sure to break loose. So the pull and push between them turns out to be really entertaining.

As for the narrattion, Reagan West was fantastic, I truly enjoyed her narrattion and her male voice is amazing, there were times when I thought I was listening to a duet narrattion.

A new favorite with each book!

Each time SR Grey releases one of her Boys of Winter, I fall in love with the hero! I think no one can top the last hero, but this one is now my favorite! Jaxon plays for the Vegas Wolves and after a terrible mistake in a crucial game is heckled by a popular blogger, Mr. Hockeypants. He takes off to get away from the public to his buddy Noel's island home to find he has a roommate! Cara goes to the island home to spend time with her best friend Noelle, but Noelle can't make it. Cara decides to stay and now finds herself in an uncomfortable situation living with Jaxon. With the incredible humor of SR Grey, we are left we smiles on our faces at the situations these two find themselves in as they get to know each other. Their romance is a slow burn, each having their own reasons for not taking their relationship to the next level. But when they finally give in, decisions have to be made or secrets will be revealed! Will these two survive the outcome? We get a glimpse of previous players too, like Dylan which makes the story feel like we are coming home! It always gives me pleasure to listen to SR Grey's books. While she writes about famous athletes in this series, she creates characters that are normal and fully relatable. I love that I can listen and understand each problem they have, sympathize with their pain and cheer for their love. It makes the listen extremely satisfying.

Reagan West voices this book of the series with the talent that I have look forward to. Her voices are so easy to distinguish and she is able to immerse herself into the story so we can feel the characters' emotions. It's a great narration.

Another Enjoyable Read

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Jackson and Cara banter from the moment they met each other. Their chemistry just leap off the page and kept me interested through the whole story. I kept wanting Cara to tell Jackson her secret but I know it was going to come out the hard way. I enjoy two strong characters who are able to say, I need you and I can forgive and have our HEA. I loved both of these characters. Their story was a lot of fun. Enjoyed the side characters. I really enjoyed Reagan West narration.

So Funny!

Loved this book! Jax and Kara had me cracking up from the start! I love the banter and quick whit from them both and the smoking hot chemistry between them! The narration was good, this is my first Reagan listen and she did good however I wish there was a male narrator for Jaxson's POV.

Mr. Hockeypants!

I loved Player on Ice by SR Grey! How the author writes such a fun listen with incredible banter and chemistry amazes me. The premise of enemies to lovers in this book worked out incredibly well for Jaxon and Cara. I found the cameo appearances of the other Boys of Winter characters from the other books in the series only added to my enjoyment of this book. Its like catching up on old friends. I found the narration by Reagan West fit this book great. She added the right emotions and expressions, and had distinguishable voices for the various characters. The imagery in the book is also great. I found myself laughing out loud at their first meeting. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Love this Fun and Steamy Romance!

I really enjoy the Boys of Winter series and Player on Ice is another fun and steamy romance. Jaxon Holland is off his game and is the scapegoat when the Vegas Wolves lose in the playoffs. The fans are very cruel to him thanks to the harsh blog post by Mr. Hockeypants author, Cara Milne. Jaxon fled Vegas to get away from the persecution. Cara needed a break as well and agreed to go with her friend to her friends, brothers beach house. When Cara's friend backed out Cara went alone only to find out, coincidentally, the same brother offered the beach house to Jaxon. Jaxon and Cara's meet cute was so hilarious! It caused them to get off on the wrong foot but the tension between them only heightened their attraction. I really enjoyed their hilarious encounters and their chemistry was explosive. As they get closer and begin to fall for each other, Cara finds it hard to tell Jaxon who she really is, and explain that she never intended to cause such backlash. But when time runs out, Jaxon isn't so easily convinced. I laughed so hard at their hilarious antics and banter. I did get frustrated with the lack of communication, but that was minor to the rest of this fun, heartfelt, and steamy romance.
Reagan West's narration was spot on. She set each scene, drawing me in, and her voice changes for each character was perfect, allowing me to lose myself in this story. I just cannot get enough of this sexy hockey team and can't wait for more!
