Publisher's Summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Thea Harrison comes the final novella featuring Pia and Dragos....

Pia’s latest pregnancy has become a daily challenge, her relationship with Dragos strained with argument. That hasn’t stopped them from achieving a compromise and traveling to Las Vegas to celebrate their friend Rune’s wedding to his mate Carling.

From the moment they arrive, the trip goes awry. Death walks in Vegas, and Pia is kidnapped as an ancient enemy makes a move to destroy the Great Beast once and for all.

But the Great Beast has other plans.

On Planet Dragos everything goes the way he arranges it - unless someone decides to cross him, and God help them then, because he doesn’t know how to back down, and he doesn’t ever, ever let up....

More Please!

Dragos and Pia are in Vegas for the wedding of Rune and Carling. We find Dragos being his usual arrogant self blowing Pia off in regards to a man who looks like him; driving Pia to work around him to find her own answers. Pia gets kidnapped and Dragos once again has to come to terms with his own arrogance to save Pia from a long term enemy.

Dragos' relationships with Death, his long time friend Rune and his mate Carling smooths out a bit during this book. Dragos offers Rune a job and presents Liam 2 job opportunities to choose from. We get a strong sense of which direction Liam will go, but what happens with stink pot? We don't know since this is apparently the end of this story arc. Inquiring minds want to know.

From the Elder Races series I love Dragos the most because he knows he's arrogant, an a$$, completely full of himself, ruthless, and has a never say die, give an inch and take no prisoners attitude but he often brings himself into check when it comes to the welfare and happiness of his family. I would love to hear more about Dragos and Pia in their new life.

Fitting End to the Story Arc

A fitting novella in the series, and a reasonable ending to Dragos & Pia’s story arc, without any real horror or life lost. Harrison has also set up another story arc for Liam’s future, and a lot of potential futures for other characters in the Elder Races series. Welcome to baby Stinkpot aka ? Read to enjoy and find out the details.
Eastlake does a decent job of narration.
Recommend.

Happy & Sad

I really loved this final chapter of the two, but I am also very sad that there will be no more. They are my favourite characters of the Elder Tales books and I will miss them a lot.

Excellent wrap up of a favorite family of characters.

I certainly hope the Drago's family will be mentioned in other boos. This is their final chapter. I truly with the story was longer, but everything that needed to be said was. You won't want to miss this good book. The book moves face so savor as much as you can. I do not give 5 stars often, this one is worthy. Enjoy!

Last of the Dragos series...

This book had the forced feeling of an end of series book.... not all authors can end a series and have it feel natural so I don't hate it. I just wasn't surprised by the "author's note" that said it was the last with Pia and Dragos as the main characters.

I love this author and the series though... the Elder Races series is a strong one and I highly recommend.

One of THE BEST from Thea

If you're a fan of Pia and Dragos and have been following along since the beginning, this is a MUST buy! Sophie Eastlake delivers this story sooooo perfectly and emotionally charged. Loved this novella by Thea!!!
