Trusting God in the Storm

I enjoyed this story of Pearl and Nicholas who work to trust in God to overcome the demands of selfish and overbearing parents.
This is the second story in the Gems of Grace series. Read the first one (Ruby's Redemption) if you can, although for me it was a much more difficult read. It dealt with human trafficking and a hopelessness that was almost unbearable at times, even though I know it was based on situations that really took place during the time period.
Both feature a wonderful narrator and themes of faith and trusting God when your situation seems hopeless.
