Publisher's summary

Imposter syndrome is an unavoidable pitfall for all of us in the healing and helping professions. We mistakenly believe that the key to overcoming it is lies in mastering our occupation. In truth, overcoming imposter syndrome requires coming to terms with our identity holistically and attending to our unhealed wounds. It's darkly amusing to realize that you had to do a lot of impressive achievements just to qualify for this syndrome. You deserve to have great confidence in your work. More importantly, you deserve to feel secure and confident in yourself. The unavoidable truth is that our effectiveness is intimately connected to our well-being.

Exactly What We All Need to Hear!

I have been a fan of Jim's writing style since his blog. Now that he's writing books I can really dive into and get something out of i am even more so. I loved book #2 and knew that I'd enjoy this one. I struggled with the narrator sounding robotic at first, but the more I listened and got used to it, the more flow he had. Probably a me problem more than a narrator issue. I took a lot away from this book and I love how Jim's books make me introspective and ask questions to ponder. I hope to see many more books available on audible soon!!
