Sean is such a great storyteller!

Another great read/performance by Sean of the South!! I love reading and listening to Sean’s work. He weaves humanity and humor into a tapestry of unexpected individual characters-heroes and villains. I listened to this book all within about a 48 hour period. The only disappointment is that it’s over.

Heartwarming

I loved the story and the narration. I laughed out loud and I cried. The southerness of the story and the narrations made the story authentic and more enjoyable. My first book from this author. He is now on my repeat list.

Cliff hanger extraordinaire

It’s been a long time since I truly couldn’t stop listening. Sean kept dropping cliffhangers at the end of the chapters to pick up another storyline. My heart raced as his characters held guns, and faced them, chased and fled for their lives on foot and by car, etc. Don’t start listening to this one if you don’t have time to finish it this week. On the other hand, go ahead and start it. You will find time to listen. It’s a story of life and death, and love and circumstances, choices and relationships and everything in between.

Interesting

It’s alright... However, Leave this kind of writing to Jack Carr and Lee Child. This isn’t you, Mr. Dietrich. I finished it only because I believe in starting what I finish. Does a Glock even have a safety? With all the respect I can muster, this kind of story isn’t your cup of tea. I liked every part of it that didn’t include shooting, kidnapping, chasing people, or danger. That being said, I believe you would write a fantastic mystery novel. A series. Something akin to Sherlock Holmes. Without violence.
