A compilation of funny, irreverently reverent stories on aligning with the Divine in daily life. For the passionately spiritual and bemusedly skeptical alike.

Adapted from a popular column originally published as "San Francisco's Spiritual Examiner" at examiner.com.

"What if God IS the story? What if the Divine is constantly igniting roadside flares to get our attention? What if there actually IS a Supreme Organizing Principle with a ribald and unbridled sense of humor? And what if we each have this ardent inner suitor who's writing us love letters every day that often go unopened?"

What if indeed? Read on.

Author Bio: Tosha Silver grew up thinking one day she would be a rabbi, a lawyer or a weathergirl. But fate had other ideas. She graduated from Yale with a degree in English Literature but along the way fell madly in love with metaphysics and yogic philosophy. For the last 30 years she has taught many ways to align with the inner Divine. She lives near San Francisco and also writes a spiritual column at examiner.com. the soulful words, the mix of light heartedness & depth... these are the cool rain drops falling unto the desert of the American collective psyche. the idea of surrendering to something more meaningful & larger than yourself is so un American, but it's exactly what our culture is so very thirsty for. if we could collectively see that we aren't missing another puffy-lip, filtered Instagram picture, but we are missing the heart & soul of humanity in our culture... if we could see we are missing some of what this book offers, we would be people who were truly worthy of being leaders of a world...

outrageously & deliciously meaningful

I loved the philosophy and perspective of this book. Thank you for articulating these obvious truths so well. Obvious more so, now that I’ve heard them articulated by you.

Tosha Silver does a great job of weaving together her own story with those of her friends and colleagues. I took an interest in astrology after listening.

Leaves you with an open mind and open heart
