The mystery and suspense.

I liked the story and uncertainty. It was also suspenseful and mysterious! I loved the speaker or narrator!

Great series!

Being a retired Police Officer I am loving this series. Great story lines and the narrator has become one if my favorites.

A Fantastic Book

I Loved this book. Knowing how the characters evolve helps, as does Daisy, she's Wonderful!

I enjoy listening to the Holly Barker series from Stewart Woods. Just wish there were more of them.

Decent Plot

Voices were annoying sometimes but the plot was good. Harry Crisp voice needed to be deeper

Anti-White, Anti-South, Anti-Right Political Propaganda Ticking Every Woke Box Pretending to be fiction worth publishing

This race-baiting, Neo-Nazi, White Supremacy crap used as the basis for fictional stories is so old and tired I cannot believe it keeps getting published. Had high hopes for this series but can’t stomach anymore of the nonsense. The group described in this mess of a book is representative of such a tiny fraction of the country you’ll never meet one of them, yet Woke authors, who seem to know very little about anything they use to create their narrative and push the Left’s agenda, write this same story again and again, and audible offers it up repeatedly. I’m guessing there are zero fiction offerings based on the very real, extremely dangerous left groups that vastly outnumber and out-destroy the few extreme right groups every time they don’t like something, i.e. election results. Sick to death of paying for crap like this and then having to fight audible to get a refund.

Great story, good narrator but horrible narrative.

Great story. Well written, no surprise from such a fabulous author.
Mr. Woods did his research and I feel a bit as if I've visited Florida.
The characters are distinct, 3 dimensional and realistic.
The narrative is horrible, not the narrator, her voice or her actual narrative, I've listened to her before and enjoyed it, but how the director had her narrate. The way they chose to represent Holly, for example, did NOT fit her character at all. It was jarring and I eventually just went back to reading the text version. Mr. Woods, if you read these reviews, listen and see for yourself and you'll immediately request a do over. Ms Campbell, I'm so sorry they did this to you.
Buy the print version until there's a do over. 3 stars- 5 for the story, 0 for the narrative = 3 stars.
