Great book!

I’m really enjoying this series! These were my first ones by Lena Hendrix and I’ve not been disappointed at all! They are a fun time!

Would defiantly recommend. Love the characters and story development. Ms Hendrix is becoming one of my favorite authors!

Small town romance, she falls for her ex's brother

This was my first book by Lena Hendrix and will not be my last! Some of my favorite tropes ever are in this one. Forced proximity? Hate to love? Angst and tension to the max? Yes please! I love ex's brother romances and I loved how Beckett already knew Kate. This is also best friend's sister, which I love as well. Kate is living with her aunt and they need help renovating her place, so they hire Beckett to help with renovations. Beckett has received a lot of flack from his family for not having a corporate job like them, his family really looks down upon him. Kate is fiery and head strong, and she is definitely not the same girl Beckett knew when she was dating his brother. They are forced to be around each other while working on the house and they even have to take a road trip together. I really love how Kate started documenting all of their projects on social media, which was such a fun element added to the story. She finally is finding her passion, while falling for Beckett. This was just such a fun small town romance! I finished the audio book in a day because I was obsessed with this romance!

Oh I liked this one. Her trying to “help” him out. All the tension and angst!! We didn’t get very many crumbs for the next book so I’m not sure that I’m going to dive straight in.

ONE DAY! It took me less than 24 hours to finish because it was that good!! Beckett Miller is everything and has officially secured a spot in my all time favorite book boyfriends!!

Beckett is Kate's ex boyfriends grumpy older brother. She is not the biggest fan of his because of that and because he isn't always the nicest to her. So when she finds out she has to work with him on the reno of her families home she is not trilled. Their quick jabs at each other quickly turn to flirty banter and before you know it Beckett is kissing Kate up against a wall and all bets are off! The chemistry and tension between them is SOOO GOOD! And the spice?!! Top notch! I adored these two together! Kate knew how to press Becketts buttons and he enjoyed it just as much! And Beckett?? That man was perfection! I mean he even enjoyed a good bubble bath!! He was grumpy and closed off to love but for Kate he put in the work and it was so appreciated! And how he won her back was just perfect in every way!! I loved being back in Outtatowner and loved seeing what crazy things these characters get up to! I laughed and cried and swooned! Loving this series so much!

AUDIO: This was narrated by Sebastian York and Erin Mallon. 10 out of 10! I have said it before and I will say it again. Sebastian and a grumpy mmc go hand in hand!! He can also pull off humor and he definitely delivered with this one! Erin can adapt to any character and she brought Kate's sassy and determined side to life!

Ugh, I absolutely loved Beckett and Kate. This grumpy contractor had me from page one. The narrators did a great job bringing these characters to life. I can’t wait for book 3!

When Kate Sullivan is summoned back home from Montana, she's reluctant to go, but she's convinced by her brothers that she's the only person who can persuade their aunt to renovate the dilapidated family home. What she doesn't know is that they already hired her brother's best friend to do the job.  Small problem: he's the brother of her gaslighting and manipulative ex who broke her heart.
Beckett's family doesn't take his career seriously and resent him for hot following the family's high-powered career path. Renovating old houses is his passion and he's highly successful but they still look down on him. When he's asked to help doing the renovation of the Sullivan house, he immediately says yes. He knows he'll have to deal with the kind of mousy and demure girl his brother used to date. He gets the surprise of his life when he realized that Kate Sullivan is feisty, passionate and dead set on getting him out of this project.
When she starts an Instagram account to document the renovation and Beckett becomes "The Brutish Builder", they start to realize that they make a wonderful team... in every way.
Oh this one was fun! I loved seeing Kate grow into herself and Beckett finally realize his own worth.
The renovation aspect of the story is fun and I loved the whole vibe of their romance. Their banter is top notch and they are fire together! 
Narration: Perfectly cast with Erin Mallon as Kate as she manages to convey Kate's personality and insecurities beautifully. You have a grump, you get Sebastian York. Boy he delivers!

Best book ever

I belly laughed and cried! This is hands down my favorite book! The narrators make you feel as if you’re right there. This book is fantastic!
