VERY IMPRESSED

VERY IMPRESSED.
The first story l has listened to previously and l still thoroughly enjoyed both the tale and the narration. The other two stories were a welcome bonus and do more than justice to the original fairy tales. RECOMMENDED

Extremely dark tales of woe

These stories were very dark twists of three fairy tales. The author attempted to tie them together, which would have been clever, if the subject matter had not been so perverted. The misogynistic undercurrents in all three stories were extremely troubling and depraved. Yet, even with this abusive theme, the narrator sort of sing-songed her way through. The focus seemed to be on the startling amount of abuse and at times the storyline did not make sense. This will be the first and last time I read a book by this author.
