Animosity morphs into a tentative friendship, which eventually leads to more. But while Atlas doesn't trust their budding relationship, Henri wants more.

Narration really brought this story to life!

I thought I loved this book after reading it on my Kindle, but holy cow, hearing it brought to life by these two narrators elevated it to a whole new level of greatness. This was my first audiobook narrated by Heathcliff Lee and I hope it won’t be my last. His voice is so enjoyable and melodic. His portrayal of the prickly Atlas had me snort laughing. He was perfect. I wish I could give it more stars.

Henri my heart

I have so far read this series in order and I think this is my favorite one so far. It definitely has the least amount of spicy scenes by far. But the connection that developed between Henri and Atlas makes up for it. This book almost had me crying, hoping both of them would figure out their love for each other. It was just so so sweet. And a great representation of ace relationships.

MY ACE HEART HAS MELTED!!!!

I am BEYOND emotional about this book. To relate so heavily to an ace character and to see a successful romance and emotional connection with a partner just brings me to the HAPPIEST OF TEARS! Everyone deserves to find their match, and no one needs to come as anything but what and who they are. Henri/Atlas foreeeeveeeeer!!

Beautiful

Atlas was a beautifully flawed character who despite being rude and gruff in the beginning had my heart by the end. He needed Henri's patience and love. The narrators did an outstanding job. Once again Iggy Toma nailed it and Heathcliff Lee was right there too. Loving this series so much. Beautifully done.

Unexpected and lovely

Nice to see Henri get his own story in such an unexpected way. I appreciated the accents but had to remember this is an audio book and not a full audio play. They captures the spirit of the characters and it was fun
