Gut Wrenching - but in the best way
Lawd! This one was a doozy, so well written, makes you feel everything. But broke my heart a million times over. So happy I read this masterpiece but will definitely need something light following this one. Feel like this will live on repeat in my mind for months.

One of my Favorite Books of All Time
This book is everything! I read and listen to a lot of audiobooks, but I’ve never found one that truly has it all—until now. I read it on the day it was released on Kindle, and then impatiently waited for the audiobook version. As soon as it was available, I bought it, and I'm so glad I did. The narration brought this already perfect book to life in ways I couldn’t have imagined. The love, the heartache, the trauma—this story took me on an unforgettable journey that I never wanted to end.

Jennifer is the queen of taboo romance
As with any book by JH, she’ll pull every emotion possible out of you. You’ll spend most of the book wondering if you’ll need therapy, but the payoff is so rewarding.
This was a great best-friends dad, slow burn, age gap romance based in the 90’s. The found family and the healing that takes place is absolutely beautiful. I loved the characters, four-legged ones included 🐶 I have yet to read a bad book from Jennifer so I’m not at all surprised that this one stole my heart.
Both narrators were absolutely exceptional. What a beautiful audiobook!

Very touching story with some spice.
I really enjoyed this book. it was definitely a slow burn, too slow in my opinion but it did keep me engaged to where I finished the book. The story is beautiful, I even shed some tears. great book!!
