Publisher's Summary

Renner Caldwell has her life perfectly mapped out. She has the ideal relationship, the perfect job, and all is right in her world. When a shameful turn of events happens, she boards the first plane bound for Ireland to lick her wounds and get her head back on straight.

Cillian O'Braidagh is the sexy front man to the Irish rock band, Over The Edge. His rising fame and sultry voice make him every woman's fantasy come true. Not to mention his single-minded determination. To put it simply: what Cillian wants, Cillian always gets. And he wants Renner, because there's just something about the flame-haired beauty he has to possess.

If their relationship was just about sex and rock n' roll, it would be easy for them to get lost in their desires. Only their relationship is anything but a hook-up. Will lies, deceit, and hidden tragedy get in the way, making the path to true love uncertain? Or will the girl whose been knocked off course find her footing with the man who is teaching her it's okay to lose control?

That first trip to Ireland would map her life. . .

Renner Caldwell loved her graduation gift of a trip to Ireland and family. She enjoyed it even more when she meets Cillian O’Bradaigh. The sexy, young, Irish rocker was every young girls dream. He kissed her like there was nothing else in the world. Then he just as easily walked away from her and picked up with another. This turns Renner in to a more logically thinking young woman. Years later she returns to Ireland and the path of Cillian. There was depth to Cillian. He was a man that had a whole story behind him and maybe guiding him. The direction of this guidance may turn out to be hazardous to his future. This was well written and gave some intriguing characters both secondary and main. Narrator Charlotte and Matthew brings the whole cast to life. Giving them depth and perception. The accent of the Irish land was just beautiful. The cadence and pitch well worth the listen. The audio was smooth and clear.

When You See Crazy Coming, Cross the Damn Street

This was an enticing romance that kept me listening and interested to the end. Who knew that a tattooed up, facial pierced Irish rock star could be so sexy, and dense. Cillian seemed to know everything about what Renner wanted and was completely clueless about his bandmate/former girlfriend. But he was awfully cute anyway. I love that even with everything Renner had to be insecure about, she didn't let that make her a jealous shrew. Love the chemistry between Cillian and Renner. The story fell in line with the others in the series.

The narration was good and the Irish accents, especially by Matthew Holland were easy to listen to and understand. Charlotte does a good job with the female voices and a passable Irish accent. I would listen to them narrate other books.

Definitely worth the credit. This is the the third book that I've read in the series and I am still looking forward to completing the series. Good job Sawyer Bennett.

Good Story but Wanted More Steamy Scenes

Listened to the audio version. The narrators did a great job. Rockstar romance that is part of a series. This is a standalone and my first read of this series, and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything by not reading the first two books. Most of the book takes place in Ireland, so of course there are Irish accents. My only really issue with the story is the author starts some really steamy sexy times which get cut off before they get really good.

Sister/cousin Renner finds fulfillment in Ireland

Renner was introduced in an earlier book in the series and we knew she had a story. She is brushed off as a young woman by her first love but he also is young so when they meet again years later they are both wary due to life experiences and heartbreak and very much more able to work through what is needed to find a common future. A good solid romance of modern day soul mates from different backgrounds, living in a global, fast moving society. Worth a listen. The narration was good and Matthew Holland did well with the accent. It would have been nice to have had more contextual depth to enjoy richer Irish background imagery.

Cillian and Renner

Cillian and Renner are amazingly beautiful together, they may have some bumps during their journey, but the connection and chemistry they have is undeniable. This story was a breath of fresh air. It was not all roses but so worth the ride. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Narration was fantastic!

Favorite so far!

This has been my favorite book of the series so far. I finished it in one day while prepping for my Thanksgiving dinner. I wish the book was longer. Moving on to the next one. I hope they keep getting better.

💜💜💜

Out of all the books in this series, this book had the most angst, and that is normal for rockstar romances however this book gave me so many more feels than normal. This was so far my favorite book in this whole series. I loved all of the different aspects of this story and love the way it all turned out.

3.5 Stars

Not my favourite book in the series, however it was still enjoyable and of course beautifully written. I had trouble connecting with Renner and Cillian and I found I wasn't as invested in their story. I got a little wound up with how Cillian handled Maeve.
All that said the chemistry when they got together was palpable and I loved Cillian's take charge attitude and the fact that unless it was in the bedroom, Renner didn't bend to his demands. Looking forward to reading Flynn's story.
