Fun story

The story was good—the narration was not—with this the interpretation I did not like any of the characters, and most of the characters were given a squeaky, broken childish voice that was unbearable.

Funny and mysterious

The creativity and funny dynamic between the characters Jet and Billy.I loved finding myself giggling at the 2 of them

This book was absolutely amazing! It was full of twists, lies, and secrets. There were humorous moments and sad moments throughout. This story kept me engaged and kept me guessing the whole time. It was a wild ride and I still can’t stop thinking about this book. Please do yourself a favor and read this book asap! Holly Jackson did an amazing job and I so look forward to what she writes next!

The narrator was great, some of the voices were a little meh but once I got into the story the characters voices grew on me. I appreciated the narrator’s enthusiasm and I felt like it really brought the characters to life! I would definitely listen to more by this narrator.

I wish I had bought the physical version

Honestly, I don't like to post reviews. Especially if I have not finished the book. But, the male voices are done so bad, I don't want anyone else to make the mistake of buying the audiobook.
I loved the author's previous books and I have all of them in Hardcover. I love the pacing of her books, there's little to no monologues. The characters are also written well. So far (14 chapters in), I can tell that the author is living up to her fame.
Now coming back to the Narrator, the male voice for Billy is done so bad that it either sounds like a whiny girl about to cry or a constipated boy pushing (You know what) will all his might. Take your pic :(
I wish I had read some of the reviews before I bought the audiobook. As I'm listening to the audiobook right now, most of the voices are whiny. As Billy is one of the main characters, you are going to be the one pushing through this audiobook with all your might.

omg. Another winner from Holly Jackson. I was addicted from the start, couldn’t stop listening, and completely shocked by the ending.

I will never not recommend this book.

How well the narrator did all the characters

This audiobook was amazing and hard to believe it was only one narrator! Get voice distinctions and so much emotion I loved it!

Fresh idea

It was an enjoyable mix of thriller and humor, liked the different twists and characters throughout

mixed feelings

HORRENDOUS NARRATION! Who let this lady into a recording booth? why do all her women sound like some. in hysterics who need a fainting couch and her men like 90-year old chain smoking grandmas? Incredibly unpleasant and distracting! the story was fun but was too rushed at the end and some side mysteries, even though resolved, did not get the necessary closure. also, the writing style was very much YA even though this was supposed to be her adult fiction debut.

Not the best, not the worst

I couldn’t stand the narrator voice for the different characters and it really pulled me out of the story. Good book though- moves slower in the beginning and then speeds up quick at the end. It had a good twist.

Not bad, not great

I enjoy Holly Jackson’s writing style and storytelling. This one didn’t hit for me though. The twist wasn’t that jaw-dropping and the main character was a bit simplistic. It wasn’t a DNF for me though, as I still wanted to know how it all comes together for the ending.
