Books one to four in the USA Today best-selling Noah Wolf series

Want to save some money? Purchase this box set and receive books one to four in the Noah Wolf thriller series for one credit!

Books included:

  • Code Name Camelot (Book One)
  • Lone Wolf (Book Two)
  • In Sheep's Clothing (Book Three)
  • Hit for Hire (Book Four)

After witnessing the murder-suicide of his parents as a child, Noah suffers from a form of PTSD that has left him without emotion, without a conscience, and without the ability to function as a normal human being.

With the help of childhood friends, he learns to watch others around him and mimic their behaviors, in order to conceal the fact that his mind operates more like a computer that he has spent years programming. That program is what allows Noah to pass himself off as normal, by establishing parameters of right and wrong that are completely inviolable to him.

As a young adult, Noah finds structure in the US Army and becomes an excellent and exemplary soldier, but when his self-imposed programming is put to the test by the murderous acts of his superior officer, Noah finds himself quickly made expendable, charged with crimes he did not commit, and facing the possibility of execution.

Without any reasonable hope for a reprieve, Noah's logic-based mind accepts his fate.

Sometimes, though, things are not all as they seem to be, and Noah is offered one chance to save himself. It was his disability, his lack of emotion, that made him the soldier he had become. Now, an ultra-secret organization known as E & E wants Noah's talents, offering him a chance to survive - as the most deadly assassin the world has ever known.

Overall the story is interesting enough but Noah not having emotions is more gimmicky than anything. If you take that part out the story the books still read the same, an action hero doing action hero things. Sarah is also an unless character for someone who’s supposed to be the best driver/ mechanic the author never really has her do those things. No eventful car chase or anything. She’s just Noah love interest.

Under developed characters

I bought the books 1 through 4 box set. Although I liked the story, I don’t think I will buy anymore of this series. I can’t take listening to the voice of Neil anymore. It was really really annoying.

Good story but……

Adam Verner really does a phenomenal job of creating different voices for the main characters of this fast moving series of books. This story could quite easily be done as an ongoing tv show. The action, adventure, grouping becoming family, even showing the value of parkour training are fantastic!! David Archer has definitely become a new favorite author. No real complaints except that regarding the entire teams lack of trauma training and kits that would slow down blood loss that can be worn on arm, ankle area or in a purse. Can't wait to hear the next set in the series. Dynamic!!
