THIS IS NO ORDINARY BOOK...

.... this is a fan..freakin..tastic Frazier book.

If you too have loved T. M. Frazier’s previous deliciously dark books in her epic King series, then I’m sure it’ll be less than NINE seconds before you too have put this awesome book in your basket. Because this riveting rollercoaster romance has fearless, lawless, ruthless and preloved characters in a suspenseful story set in love.. and the nearly NINE hour action-packed audiobook will be over way way WAY too soon.

The gripping yet sweet story about Preppy’s sexy younger brother Kevin (aka Nine) and his second-chance soulmate Lenny is paved with dark times, angst, suspense, intrigue, sex, violence, danger, alpha possessiveness and twists. There’s also glorious anticipation as sizzling chemistry reignites a first love and turns it into a forever love. Also, Preppy’s NINE year old son will absolutely be a little scene stealer with his ‘mini me’ humorous antics. As this well-written story unfurls it’s chills and thrills, the dual PoV narration by Lucy and Teddy was absolutely perfect invoking, creating and bringing all the mouthwatering feels to life.

Worth a credit? This addictive, entertaining and deliciously dark rollercoaster had everything I was hoping for from the talented Ms Frazier.. and a whole heap more too.. so yes, this is definitely creditworthy.

I just don't know

I feel that this story is of course not like the others in the king series. Lucy Rivers narrating male voice is still terrible and I truly wish that someone else was doing it. I felt like she wasn't into this book at all and I've heard her sound better in other books. This book was heard to get through because of her.
Teddy Hamilton was great and I do wish he just did the story all by himself . The story is story was ok but would of been better without Lucy Rivers. I only wanted to finish the king series because it was the last one.🤷‍♀️
I will not be listening to the up in coming book that will be in the king series if Lucy Rivers is involved in it. She doesn't fit this type of story.

It was ok

I was so looking forward to this story and found it sort of disappointing and not the highly fleshed out characters that Frazier normally gives us. I love this Series and all of the characters within the Logan's Beach world. I felt that Kevin's character was intriguing since his introduction to the series and his storyline and arc was just fine. His lady love, not so much. I found her to be weak and unrealistic - at times her story arc didn't make sense to me. Totally foolish storyline for her. Kevin deserved a much stronger woman for his lady love. Her story started out strong and just sort of fizzled out. She didn't come off to me as strong or much of a fighter as Doe, Dre, and Thia were in the previous stories. Lenny's character was unrealistic, she was a complete let down.

⭐️⭐️⭐️TM is always a 10⭐️⭐️

What can I say, TM is queen of MC epics!! So glad to be back with the KING BOYS!!!
Unfortunately this female narrator again wrecks it for me!!!
However I am a die hard TM fan and Teddy is one of my top 5 favorite male narrators!!

🌻come on producers, Duet narration should always be chosen!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I am so glad that Kevin’s story has finally been told! However, I’m disappointed that T.M.Frazier has become lazy, in the last few books. King, Bear and Preppy’s stories were multiple books and I enjoyed them so much more. Kevin’s story could have been more complete, had a couple of more hours been added and the four month time jump, at the end, been “lived” by the readers/listeners. Smoke’s story had the same critical flaw. Honestly, this issue has made me reluctant to even start Rage’s story, which I have skipped, to this point.

I HAVE ONE MESSAGE TO ALL THE AUTHORS OUT THERE, STICK WITH WHAT MADE YOU POPULAR, IF YOU WANT LOYAL READERS. I have relistened to King, Bear and Preppy’s stories, I won’t bother with Smoke and Nine’s. They are just ok. That’s what I love about Kristen Ashley, she continues the style and effort that made her popular, in the first place.

However, in the great words of Preppy, himself, “I motherfuc****, digress!” Although this book is a poor comparison to the previous books, in this series, it still contains graphic violence, descriptive sex, disturbing, psychopathic behavior and drug use. If you aren’t the type of person who can look through the ugly to see the beauty beneath, this really isn’t the series for you. It’s definitely not for young, impressionable adults, because it romanticizes violence, crime and drug use. With that being said, even though I’m a wife of a former cop, a law abiding citizen (for the most part) and mother of four girls, I’ve loved ever minute of this ride!

Outstanding!

Meet the newest bad boy of Logan's Beach... Kevin (aka Nine) Clearwater!!!

Following in the footsteps of his big brother, Nine joins the ranks of the dominant men we know and love; King, Bear and Motherfu*king Preppy.
Subjected to a horrible upbringing, Kevin is forced to fend for himself from a young age. The only bright spot in his life is the random encounter with a kindred spirit, Poe, but even that ends in disaster. With the clothes on his back and a picture of his only living relative in his pocket, Kevin heads out to find Logan's Beach and hopefully a new start to life.

I loved everything about this book. Nine fits perfectly into the world that King, Bear and Preppy have created while still making it his own. Now I want to go back to the beginning just to enjoy these wonderful characters all over again!

Good but...

Not as good as some of the rest of the kings series. It wasn’t nearly as dark or brutal as the rest of them. And her handling of the dark stuff is what makes her so damn amazing. She gets dark, and brutal, and scary without making you feel dirty on the inside for reading it. I don’t know how she does it, but she does. She’s one of my all time favorite authors, hands down. This book was good, but it felt much much more tame than the others. It wasn’t her exceptional level of writing at I’m use to. I definitely didn’t feel the tension like I normally do. Don’t get me wrong, some of the stuff talked about was awful, but it was all in the past. Nothing was happening now. It was good though. I’ll still buy all her books.

Just an okay story.

I was not impressed with the way this story went. Ms. Frazier seems to have rehashed some of the same story lines in this series. 1) Abusive childhood rape & molestation 2) Dead when actually alive 3) Best friend's betrayal; to name a few. I am glad that I now know Nine's story, but I can say that the attributes of this book pale in comparison to the previous titles. And yes, I have read/listened to them all. I am familiar with everything Ms. Frazier has written. I had to push hard to get to the end. The naration was fine. They can only work with what is written. I didn't care for the excessive drug use during the additional epilogue. I loved Kevin Clearwater early in the story but by the last chapter I didn't care what happened next to him and Lenny.

I love this series!

I love every thing about these characters. The low moments tear at your heart, and the sex scenes are filled with so much passion, that you can't help but fall for these guys. Well done! Ms. Frazier, you get me every time!!!

I Loved N9ne’s Story

It’s been a good couple of years since I’ve been to Logan’s Beach, and oh how I’ve missed it, and Kevin ‘N9ne’ Clearwater (brother of Preppy) was the perfect getaway. Of course Preppy plays a part, along with Bear and King, and their wonderful significant others. As in previous books this is not for the faint hearted, there’s a lot of violence and drug use (amongst other things), all adding to the character of the story. If that’s not your jam, give this book a miss. If you’re not one to take offence, and if you’ve read the previous books in the series and loved them, then you’re obviously not, then this is a must read. I loved N9ne’s story, even more so because I listened to the audio, and with Teddy Hamilton and Lucy Rivers narrating, it couldn’t be anything other than perfect.

Loved it!

I loved this book and I loved the audible version. The narration was perfect. This book almost felt like redemption to me with Nine and Poe getting their much deserved happily ever after.

I loved this book

I loved this story of Kevin Clearwater (Nine) and Lenny. I have loved the whole series and enjoyed being back in that world. The narrators did a great job of bringing the characters to life.
