Story
What does “Give them Lala” mean? It means giving the truest, most honest version of yourself to the world. It means being authentic, bold, adventurous, and having an unapologetic approach to life. Hollywood is where Lauren Burningham, aspiring actress from Utah, fully embraced her alter-ego Lala Kent, entrepreneur, entertainer, and film and television star. Some say she’s rude; Lala says she claps back. Some say she’s too bold; Lala knows she’s reality TV gold. Truth is, without giving them Lala, Lauren could never have become the woman she is today.

In retrospect, it's hard to believe that everyone didn't know that Andy was gay; still, he remained in the closet until college. Finally out, he embarked on making a career out of his passion for television.

Publisher's summary
Discover how to embrace your best basic self in this laugh-out-loud funny guide from the breakout star of Bravo’s hit reality show Vanderpump Rules, perfect for fans of the relatable and entertaining books by the Betches and Andi Dorfman.
Millions of Vanderpump Rules viewers and podcast listeners know Stassi Schroeder as a major defender of basic bitch rights. There’s nothing more boring than people who take themselves too seriously or think you have to be pretentious to be cool. Stassi champions the things that many of us are afraid to love publicly for fear of being labeled basic: lattes, pugs, bubbly cocktails, millennial pink, #OOTD (outfit of the day, obvs), astrology, hot dogs, the perfect pair of Louboutins, romantic comedies...the list goes on and on.
This audiobook is for people tired of pretending they would rather see a Daniel Day-Lewis movie about sewing or read War and Peace than watch a Saw marathon or listen to...well, this audiobook!
In Next Level Basic, the reality star, podcast queen, and ranch dressing expert gives you hilarious and pointed lessons on how to have fun and celebrate yourself, with exclusive stories from her own life and on the set of Vanderpump Rules. From her very public breakups to her most intimate details about her plastic surgery, Stassi shares her own personal experiences with her trademark honesty - all with the hope you can learn something from them.

Okay AF
How many times can someone say Basic AF? Well if you read this book, you will hear it every other sentence. Let me recap this book for you. Be yourself and you can title yourself Basic AF. Stassi tells you to be yourself, but also she is gonna judge you for it. She contradicts herself left and right, but I give her props. She made made money off me (I drank the kool-aid and thought this book might be worth it) so I purchased it. Instant regret.

Basic Bitch essential!
Ok, so I'm a 52 year old attorney and I work with some pretty serious stuff---survivors of sexual assault--that kind of thing and I love watching Vanderpump Rules b/c it reminds me of me and my friends when we were in our 30's...before marriage, kids and all that serious stuff. Just fun to watch human behavior at it's finest! I started listening to Stassi's podcast and find it cheers me up to listen to her banter about basic bitch things especially when life can be so fucking serious and no fun. Stop taking yourselves so seriously, people! Stassi is bright, witty and authentic. A natural performer...she has the gift of gab and ability to tell stories in the most amusing fashion.

Great if you’re 13…
I love silly, ridiculous people and their stories and I’m sure this book is ideal for teenagers, but as a 35 year old woman very very little coming out of this book resonated with me. No depth, wit or maturity unfortunately. I don’t think I am the target demographic. 🤦🏻♀️

I loved this book! Stassi you are the cutest and the most entertaining. It was a lighthearted listen and I really enjoyed it. Being a woman in my 40’s I could still relate to everything and I found it made me smile a lot and giggle. She’s a delightful soul and full of character!. I love her she’s brilliant! Well done on a great book Stassi.

ABSOLUTE BEST!
I absolutely loved this book and I don't think any one but the queen herself could have read it. Stassi genuinely makes you feel like she's your bestie and you are just having a chat over some wine. I really hope she does another book just like it!

Loved it!!!
Absolutely adored this book and Stassi read it so well. Felt exactly like I was hanging out with a gf and having a good laugh and got some good tips in it to. if your in your late 20s early 30s you will totally relate to this book. Thanks Stassi for being so open and honest and now I'm even more embracing my Basicness and feel so much more confident with myself. All the best girl!

Fun, funny & oh so honest!
Loved it! I don't think I would have enjoyed this anywhere near as much if it was narrated by anyone other than Stassi! Can't wait for the next book!

Erika Jayne didn't make it this far by holding back. Now, in her first-ever memoir, the fan favorite star of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills bares her heart, mind, and soul. In Pretty Mess, Erika spills on every aspect of her life: from her rise to fame as a daring and fiery pop/dance performer and singer; to her decision to accept a role on reality television; to the ups and downs of family life (including her marriage to famed lawyer Tom Girardi, 33 years her senior). There's much more to Erika Jayne than fans see on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Story
In the spring of 2006, a new kind of show premiered on Bravo: The Real Housewives of Orange County. Its stars were tanned, taut, and bedazzled; their homes were echoey California villas; and their drama was gossip-fueled, wine-drenched, and absolutely exquisite. Fifteen seasons on, RHOC is an institution, along with The Real Housewives of New York, Atlanta, New Jersey, Miami, Potomac, and more.
