Great Mafia Romance 💜

This was a second chance mafia romance that I absolutely loved. The storyline was exciting with more than one surprising moments.
The characters were wonderful.
The narration was absolutely perfect.
This is book 2 that can be read as a standalone, with an HEA.
I recommend this book.

What my mafia romance loving heart needed

I love mafia romances and this one is on my list of new favorites. This is book two in the series. It can be a standalone but it definitely has me wanting to check out book one. In this story, we get the story of Nico and Sofia. They meet as kids and instantly have a connection. Their strong friendship blooms into more. Then Nico suddenly breaks her heart and disappears. Years later as she is graduating from college Nico appears back into Sophia's life. Secrets and truths are revealed Turns out Nico works for her mob boss father and Sophia knows all about it when everyone thinks she has no clue about her families mafia ties. As they try to give their love another chance, they aren't sure if it can survive their secrets. I loved every aspect of this story. It pulled me in right away. I went through the emotions with the characters. I felt for Sophia's heart break. I loved and hated Nico (but in the end totally loved him). My favorite character was Sophia's best friend Michael. I hope there is more from him in the series. I am hooked on this series. This is a must read/listen for mafia romance fanatics like myself. This book has drama, danger, steamy romance, heart felt moments and everything else to have you addicted. These narrators did a great job pulling the listener in and keeping us locked in.

SO GOOD.. SO ENTERTAINING.. & SO WELL-NARRATED TOO

Oh boy I’m love.. love.. loving this Five Families Mafia world that Ms Ramsower has created with her sexy dangerous alpha heroes and complicated heroines.. and all I can do is echo the glowing 5 star reviews others have left for this very enjoyable and well-paced love story. There’s a good buildup as these two soulmates rekindle the embers of their love that never quite died out and Nico and Sofia’s second-chance dual POV love story was brought to life by two very talented narrators who made the character’s journey through potholes, lies, secrets, danger and revelations an absolute joy to listen to.

Worth a credit? Definitely.. its well-developed soft plot is sweet, romantic, emotional, layered, has good ‘family’ loyalties and has Mafia madness too.. and yippeeee I’m off to listen to book 3 right now.

Mafia goodness

Everything you need from a Mafia romance. Angst, suspense, and twists you never expect. Add a second chance romance to the mix and you'll be hanging on every word. This is book 2 of The Five Families series. It can be read as a standalone but book 1 is just as delicious and the ending, though not a cliffhanger, will leave you anxious for book 3. Ava Erickson and Wen Ross do an amazing job of bringing this story to life and I look forward to hearing more of their narrations in the future. Very much worth the credit!!

Sofia and Nico

This book was so good. Nick broke up with Sofia when she was 15 and shattered her world. He comes back into her life seven years later when her father wants him to protect her from their enemies. There was plenty of suspense and romance. Sofia's older sister Alessia and Luca from book 1, made a few appearances. Her friend Michael turned out to be great. Uncle Sal shows up again in a negative way. The ending of this book was great. Ava Erickson and Wen Ross did an outstanding job with the narration.
