Nate and Sabrina💥

I enjoyed this one alot more than the 1st book. The back story and was more developed and the side characters were great. I loved Nate in the 1st story, so it was no surprise that I enjoyed more of him and I really liked Sabrina's attitude and strength. I def recommend this one!

Female narrator....

Her voice is so grating. Especially her male voice. Seriously, everything she says as Nate is sharp / angry sounding, etc even in more tender moments. She’s got one inflection in her voice - irritating.

Joe Arden is great.

So far the best

So far this one is the best of the series. I love Nate and Sabrina, but I also enjoyed Nate in the first book of the series. In the first book he was the hired hand and this one he is the Boss and Sabrina is the girl he protected. She is sassy and has her eyes and heart set on getting Nate. This wouldn't be a true mafia series without the drama that would naturally come with a crime boss. Narration is awesome, great pairing of Joe Arden and CJ Bloom. I intend to finish out the series with book 3.

Fun characters, great story, well paced and the narration was awesome! This was different and and kept me really engaged.

liked that the ending wasn't rushed

Too often books miss giving us a good shoot out or heroine trapped and needing to really really fight to save herself. This one isn't bad ... I would have liked to see a little more action at the fight. .. a little more torture, but it was good. I'm not a huge Bloom fan, but she did well. My issue with the book was having Sabrina be 18. I think women would like the book better had she been say 21 or 22 just finishing her bachelor's degree instead of just finishing high school.

Great!

Totally loved this one. Nate is yummy and swoonworthy with just enough mystery and violence.

My Two Pennies

Nate is the Boss, the man you don’t want to get on the wrong side of and guardian to Sabrina. If you’re looking for a story that is filled with suspense, action and sexual desires fulfilled then this is the book for you. The turns this story takes had me hanging on each word and left me questioning others actions. Great read and I will definitely be looking into the other standalone’s in this series. This was my first and I can confirm that reading them out of order you’re still up to date on the events and don’t feel as though you’re missing any pieces to the puzzle.

Wow this book and series is amazing

I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed this series. I listed to three of them in two days... fighting to stay up to listen to the next chapter. The narrators were perfect.

Saved and Saved Again

The girl who was saved by the assassin and his friend grows to save the friend who becomes boss. The woman she becomes saved her self but still loved it when her man came to the rescue.

Liked The Ending

Nate and Sabrina, an interesting couple 💑 There were few suspensful scenes, as well deceitful and surprising ones, For such characters and the story itself, love the traditional and beautiful ending ❤ Joe Arden and CJ Bloon did a good job narrating this story
